I assume you probably need the software for the brand of phone(s) installed on your pc (and possibly a transfer cable if needed).
The LG software is called "LG Phone Manager" (similar to Nokia PC Suite I guess).

I came across a v1.5.0.25 which is about 56mb (dunno if this is the most recent version).
