watching an anime that's so obviously a ripoff of Yu-Gi-Oh! it's insulting. they manage to rip off the entire franchise in the pilot, dafuq were they thinking?

did the idiots that created this try to make this as much of a blatent ripoff as possible? the only way it could be more of a ripoff is if the mains we're pallet swaps of Yu-Gi-Oh and used the same voice actors!

Not necessarily, I've been to the PSO World forums and some of these dudes are really hardcore into this shit. Like, prepared to sell their souls to it. :wacko: I remember when the new patch came out with the snowy area and the level cap was raised from 30 to 40, a bunch of people got to 40 within a day. I mean Jesus Christ.

Definitely, though I've noticed certain patterns. Like, one of the Japanese players I met used Latin letters to write their username, but it was accompanied by this ☆ sign that oh so many Japanese people just love to use. However, I'd say most people who have English names tend to be foreigners. When I did quests with people like that and I said something in Japanese they instantly panicked and admitted they were foreigners. :wacko:
