Hail Sithis
Hail Sithis
So many good cheap Famicom games. I placed an order from an eBay seller for Ninja Kaiketsu Yancha Maru, Double Dragon 1/2, Mario 3, Layla, Hono no Tokyuji Dodge Danpei, Ninja Ryukenden, Kunio-kun no Nekketsu Soccer League, Macross, Takahashi Meijin no Boukenjima and a second dog bone controller. Layla really being the only one that is even kinda pricey and still not too bad considering the general price of old games these days.
I still can't believe I snagged Shenmue II for like $5, going rate for PAL version locally is still around $40 :lol
Well it isn't here yet but there shouldn't be any problems as it's domestic.
From what I can tell the I & II Collection for Xbone might be around $50-60.
Yeah some cart prices have gone a bit silly again of late. I always though mario/duck hunt nes was nearly worthless but apparently it isn't now, here anyway  Doesn't make sense as it was bundled with consoles and isn't hard to find.
Maybe it's just everything old creeping up in value and maybe more people are collecting games now idk.
Mario/Duckhunt being more than a dollar is peak derp. Not that either is particularly a bad game but like you said it's probably the singular most common cart or close to it.
Many of the games I bought were under $10 and a couple were 99 cents before shipping, another two of them were just $2.15. The shipping charges were actually very reasonable, not sure they are going to be able to ship 10 games and a controller for $14.89, guess I'll find out when I get the package as most Japanese packages list the postage price paid.
:bed:
So damn hot we had a brownout! Whole fucking block was out.
The northern hemisphere seems virtually apocalyptic this year. Massive fires not far from the arctic circle (Sweden), runway in Germany breaking up due to heat, people dropping like flies because they don't have a/c and don't drink enough water.
A lot of the heat related stuff involves temps that we see in summer here so for us it's generally a little odd that so many people are dying, but it makes sense if 35-40c is basically unheard of and you aren't prepared for it.
Wish the duke xbone controller wasn't so expensive, I kinda want one but not that badly :o
I haven't used my original nes controller in a very long time or my quick shot, max, and "stopwatch"
man you guys are getting it bad. we've actually cooled down quite and gotten a good bit of rain though temps are supposed to start going back up next week.
@DL: Kind of unreal how many people have access to and don't drink nearly enough water.
@Grouch: I had been using the hard wired controllers on the Sharp Twin but they made my thumb a cement mixer playing Tetris lol. I don't like the sharp, stark edges of the stock NES controller.
well think I'm finally close to finishing the main quest in oblivion. this last part I did was actually fun and had a real sense of danger unlike most other parts.
