Umm, thought of where you're going to live? It might help to exhaust all your options and then hate life a little more than you do now. When can you apply for a new job?
I don't even feel like writing out my tragic situation. Really, it'll only bring me to think about it, which I don't want. Let's just say that a lot of hard work and money has gone to waste. Not getting my visa.

I bleeding have been running around for funds to fund our (me and 7 other girls) funding for the last two months. Got like 25,000 rupees together, which is a lot. Arranged house stays with 7 families in Boston. Spent like a shit load of money and what do I get, freaking US Embassy tells me there's no date before March 1st for the interview of the visa. INTERVIEW! I don't even look like a criminal. Ok, I know that doesn't count. I tried talking to some people, but it turns out I have to communicate with a goddamned computer till March 1st. What am I supposed to tell a machine?? "Please let me come and prove that I am not a criminal before March 1st b/c I need to be sitting in a bleeding conference on February 16th?" I tell you all this freaking security and redtapism and we still have a bunch of idiots bombing places everyday. Who's the idiot now?
So yea, feeling very bleh. I have been going to the Passport office to get my passport renewed everyday for the past three days. Indian bureaucracy! I guess it's the same everywhere, but I am not everywhere, so I shall only comment on my country's status. It's such a horrid place to be in. What's scary is that, that is the real world. I live in my little protected little La La Land where everything's bubbly and super. Of course, what makes it hard is that I realize that my world's not real. Corruption. I can't stand in the lines, b/c this one guy at the passport office calls my mother and tells her that if I don't go through him to get my passport renewed then he won't let it pass (yes, he can do that), freak knows I need my passport in a hurry, so he's using it to get one measley bottle of booze. I pity him in more ways than one.
So yday I stood outside of the lines (b/c I had a 'contact'). I hated myself for it. It's something I've always fought against. It's something I've cried about. Something I laugh at. Something I mock. Something I feel digusted by. Not something I do. I didn't want to blame my mother. I wanted to blame my father, b/c he was the one who started this whole 'give booze and get what you want' cycle. But no matter what, in the end, it was me. I was standing out of the line. Anyway, I stormed out of the office yday and sat and moped for a while, yelled and then came to the conclusion that my principles would not be bent over just b/c. I went again to the office and had made my mind up to stand in the lines. Anyway, the man finds me there and takes my form and gets everything done in 3 minutes. Three fucking minutes. That's it. One bottle has bought me a quick passport, but it's cost me so much more. I know, it's silly. But I've always been on the other side of the system. In it, but an anomaly. Someone who refuses to comply to what is the 'norm' just b/c the system says it's so. I've always been the one who refuses to believe there's no other way. And yet, I missed the queues and the rudeness of the officials simply b/c my fucking father bribed someone ages ago. But even then, I can't blame him. It's something I did. I don't mind being pushed around by the system that much, but I get some peace in knowing that I am not on their side, that I can be disgusted with the way it works, but I still will not buy my way through places. I don't feel like I have the right anymore to bitch about corruption. I just perpetuated it.

About a wekk ago I got a message from my dad saying he needed to talk to me, that is was urgent and stuff.. So I call him and apparently he was mugged by two native gangsters and they stole his perscriptions or something.. I was prety upset after hearing that. :(
Also, I am REALLY bored. I don't think I've ever been this bored in my life..
