Just finished watching Penny Dreadful season 1 last night. :)
Heh, I couldn't finish that. Prefer The Strain.
Been watching season 2 of Arrow and it's getting pretty ridiculous.
Dragnet 1967
Whose Line Is It Anyway? That show is absolutely essential to anyone who wants a good legitimate laugh. I watch it religiously, and I never get tired seeing it. However, I must say that the follow-up shows are sadly not quite up to par.. I think they are The Green Screen Show, Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, and the reboot of Whose Line Is It Anyway? just don't cut it like the original (both the BBC and ABC versions) at all.
Been watching The Simpsons, specifically marathoning the Treehouse of Horror episodes. I love this time of year! :jacko:
Trying to catch up on ToQger (three weeks behind) and trying to not lapse, for the tenth time, on Dairanger (Kou, their sixth, is making it hard because he's a child... and I don't like children in Japanese TV; or any TV for that mater)
CSI (Las Vegas)
Dragnet 1970, the final season of the 60s revival.
Star Trek TNG S6 blu-ray :]
ChouSeiShin GranSazer, up to episode 17.
ToQger, up to 37.
Finished up season 2 of The Venture Bros., now I have to wait on the DVDs for seasons 3-5.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, season 2.
Saw the new episode of South Park last night.
Hurt myself by watching the first 2 seasons of Squidbillies.
Watced re-run of Family Guy. The one with Stewie's perspective in first person.
Started season 3 of Stargate Atlantis.
Finished season 2 of Robot Chicken.
Watching season 1 of V.R. Troopers.
Watched episode 1 of Choujin Sentai Jetman.
Watching BSG...again
For those that haven't watched it, or stopped watching it for various reasons here's a short version:
Ugh, modern BSG and that series finale...
ANYWAY, up to episode 23 of ChouSeiShin GranSazer.
Series 2 of The Fall, God damn it cliff hangers. I suppose this means there'll be a series 3 eh?
Started season 3 of The Venture Bros.
Up to episode 34 of DaiRanger.
The Time Tunnel (1966-67).
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964-68) S4.
And the Doctor Who 2014 Christmas Special.
Finished up season 5 of The Venture Bros., and I have to say, what in the hell happened to this show? The first three seasons were great, then it all went downhill with 4 and 5, especially given how short 5 was. And now every season after is only going to be 10 episodes long? Seriously, what are they even thinking?
Finished season 3 and started season 4 of Stargate Atlantis.
Finished up episode 45 of Ressha Sentai ToQger.
Finished up episode 5 of Choujin Sentai Jetman.
Finished Gosei Sentai DaiRanger after something like a year. A series of ups and downs, it felt at times like they had no idea what they were doing, much less what pace was.
Finished up Transformers Prime. No sir, I didn't like it.
Finished the 30 episode run of Dilbert. Of course UPN canned it years ago because I liked it. I liked it even more after rewatching it... stupid UPN...
Finished Invasion: Earth, a six part British miniseries that had no ending at all. It tried to be clever, but it didn't have the writing for that.
Started series 7 of new Doctor Who.
1864.
I thought we posted tv shows not the year we were born.j/k. Ren and Stimpy the original gross out show. Hard to believe that this show is twenty years(I think). This show had a huge impact on me when I first saw it. I've noticed some subtle things that I didn't catch the first time around.
Yeah I watched it in full HD, Danish audio with English subs.
It was ok. Some bits were a bit meh and a couple of wtf bits too, but overall I found it interesting enough. Definitely more interesting than a lot of English/American shows around recently.
The end especially I was all wtf?!!!?
If you like war stuff, history, with some soap elements thrown in I'd recommend it.
Edit: A warning though, at the end of each episode it has clips from the next episode. You can predict when it's going to happen...you'll see what I mean when you watch it. Whenever I got to that part at the end of an ep I stopped watching and started watching the next ep instead.
Oh and there is some German dialogue too iirc, but they mostly sound like they had Danish accents. Or maybe I just imagined that
And some English dialogue too, for obvious reasons.
:<3:
Is it tricky to find or can I just easily search it up on you know where?
For example most Wuxia shows are kinda hard to find unfortunately. This seems like it was a fairly big deal so I'm hoping it will be pretty easy to find with English subs.
Lately I've been watching the 2nd season of Rurouni Kenshin since it's one of my favourite anime things ever. It still suffers from being an anime (nothing happens in episode 4 of this season literally nothing (okay one thing) I think if CN were airing it they'd cut that episode and just leave you wondering why someone is dead since they are so fond of doing that kind of shit) but overall it's very good.
Pretty much everything now has soap elements, I probably didn't need to mention that :P
I might be easier to find the Spanish version :lol
:pwacko:
Depends on your definition of soap elements.
Looks like this new/final Justified season will wrap up in April and that's when I will binge it sooooo hard. Hearing good things.
Series 7 of new Doctor Who was awful. Somehow even worse than series 6, despite having much less of Amy Pond.
I can only imagine how horrid series 8 is...
Welp finished my run of TNG deluxe edition. Phew that took awhile.
Saw the finale of Ressha Sentai ToQger the other day, and, well, it wasn't as good as good as I had hoped. The lack of a mecha fight, the whole sudden ability to Line Change with ToQ6 despite earlier stating it to be impossible, a lack of a suitless roll call (all they did was do a roll call before their helmets went on), Rainbow mode, lack of a Hyper Dark ToQ1... it was just a meh finale. Plus they never really explained what happened to all the Shadow Towns.
Kinda mixed feelings on Shuriken Sentai Ninninger as well... not a big fan of flashy ninja. I mean, what's the point of being a ninja if not for stealth? But then, no ninja team in Super Sentai was exactly stealthy to begin with... but this team is just freely admitting to it.
Babylon 5.
Just finished marathoning Batman Beyond, then jumped over to Justice League Unlimited to watch the episode Epilogue, which acted as the proper series finale to Beyond.
Great show, Beyond. Dark and violent without being over the top, the type of rare show that kids and adults can both enjoy. Hated the art style, which is why I think I missed out on it when the show was first airing, but I managed to get over that and found a great series.
Scooby Doo,Where are you? It took forever to find this show. I had to torrent it. The show brings back memories of being 3 or 4 and watching this.
Iron Chef Japan- I love the camp and the food on this show. It makes me hungry whenever I watch it.
MXC- Hilarious show.
Justice League Unlimited
First two seasons were pretty good, but season 3 was padding and had little payoff. I know they wrapped everything up at the end of season 2 because they weren't sure if there was going to be another season, but they should have at least come up with an idea before learning they were picked up for another 13 episode run.
Stargate Atlantis. It's been a while since I last watched it, so I'd pretty much forgotten most of the episodes.
Been re-watching The West Wing recently.
I've gotten back into NCIS and it's spin off's. I need to rewatch a season or so back in each I think to really get what is going on between the characters.
Finished all Stargate Atlantis, started on Stargate SG1.
