I'm watching Death Note right now, since it isn't comeplete
Bokurano - A dark mindfuck of a mech show, but it remains to be seen whether it can be retain it's bleakness without descending into melodrama.
Seto no Hanayome - Crazy comedy series, full of insane violence and more than a few shonen-ai gags thrown in for no apparent reason. It's good, but not something I'll likely rewatch.
If I had more drivespace, I'd be watching the second series of Ikki Tousen and the new Nanoha series as well.
Gokuto no Hayate, funny anime about some guy becoming a rich girls butler to protect her, they always say the weirdest things and when they talk about other anime's it gets censored and in episode 2 the butler pretended to be Snake from Metal Gear Solid. XD
Yeah. There's little really unique about the series (It's no more hyperactive than, say, puni puni poemi or excel saga) aside from it's unusual twist on the stereotyped anime crush (Masa is pretty much the best supporting character in the series), but it's done with such a bizarre flair that it's impossible to dislike. And I say that as someone who usually avoids comedy shows.
I heard about Gokuto no Hayate on Tsuchan, but I hadn't really looked into it. Maybe after it finishes, I'll take a look.
Well, after like two years and a bunch of false starts, I finished Maison Ikkoku, and I'm really glad. The beginning was kinda meh, but the second half...waa, sugoi, sugoku sugoi~! Next, Kare Kano. Or Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. Or Fushigi Yuugi (otaku-tested, Ryuuen-approved). Or Nana. And I "volunteered" to torrent today's episode of some American idol thingie or whatever it is after the parents' media PC went bugger-all earlier today, so I might want to look at that episode and see what it is, but that's not really anime, is it?
*sigh* I wanted to watch Maison Ikkoku too, but there are just too many
ep's. Manga was very good, so maybe I'll try downloading some ep's in the
future. Also Kare Kano is on my future list too.
Well. For now I'm watching Strongest disciple Kenichi. For now
it's a very good series which also sticks very close to the manga series.
The second one is Sumomomo Momomo..my god..this is such a
weird anime, I dunno about the manga but even though the series is
kinda out of earth it still enjoyable.
(the bear fight was..well kinda interesting :thot: )
I dunno how I find the time to watch that many seires...
Waiting for new Naruto episode to come out.
Well, I'm not the first one to mention it, but I'm watching Seto no Hanayome. After Trinity Blood, I totally needed something as completely random and crazy as this one. Awesome opening, too. Air guitaring for the win.
Oh yeah, double-post. Anyway, I watched Black Blood Brothers. Isn't the best series ever, but not that bad. It was entertaining while it lasted, though I doubt I'll ever rewatch it. And seriously, it could've been a so much better show if it's 24 episodes instead of 12. I hope they correct that mistake with a second season.
I also checked out the first episode of Lucky Star, but almost fell asleep while watching it. I might take a look at the second episode, to see if it gets better, but this series looks very mediocre to me: it tries to be funny, but fails miserably.
The funny part is that after that list of series I said I might look at, I found Honey and Clover II hiding in the directory. I'm watching that right now, and I finally understand that line from dinner. "Virginity-protecting magical unicorns, yay!" :P
Romeo x Juliet, I'm at episode 4 at the moment. Such a lovely show, highly recommended for fantasy/romance fans.
It seems so far that it has little in common with the original, and I hope it remains that way: it's better seeing something new. (I certainly don't remember Juliet being a Zorro ripoff, for example. :P) Nevertheless, I'm really liking it.
Im watching Death Note, Bleach, Naruto Shippuuden, and History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Kenichi is really funny, check it out on youtube.
Holy crap!
Everyone watch Claymore episode 08. NOW!
Absolutely mad episode. I don't have more words :S
I was like "What... the hell just happened..?" while watching the credits roll. Best episode so far.
Oh, and that bitch deserves a painful death for killing Teresa.
(spoiler warning, obviously.)
It's pretty obvious Clare will kill you-know-who, I just want to know how. When the two of them clash together, it will be the most awesome battle in the series this far -- goes without saying :D. Gwuuh, I can't wait for Episode 9.
This Clsymore stuff is good, thanks for posting about it.:minkoff:
Ghost Hunt - Ghostbusters anime, eh? Seriously though, I liked the first episode, which means I'll keep watching.
Claymore ep. 09 - I hate the guys making this. Always ending the episode at the best part. Damn them. :P Seems like there'll be a pretty awesome fight in the next episode, though.
Watched a few eps of DearS............
...............

I WANT A SLAVE!!! Omfg >< id be havin fun with her all the day n night hehehehehehehehehe
I pretty much liked this episode, although there was no real tough action. I would never have imagined that Clare was ranked as the weakest of all Claymores :P. But then again, something might trigger some kind of ultimate power or something in the next episode -- there has to be a reason she got to follow the three others on the hunt.
Yeah, I hope they'll show us something super awesome, because I'm already missing the Teresa arc.
Watching two shows at the moment, Shining Tears X Wind and Inukami. Shining Tears, well... seems like the usual fantasy/action anime to me. Inukami's first episode was weird. Very weird. That's all I'm saying.
Watching The Law of Ueki.
One thing you will hear often to alot. "Omai baka!"
Watching Gurren Lagann. Everyone should watch this show now!!
Dennou Coil: Coil - A Circle of Children. It's fairly new on NHK Educational, but pretty cybertech in its premise. Digital world meets real world, and one directly affects the other. That can range from simple things like digital pets or fishing poles (bag of holding!) to virii or the protectors of the digital media, Satchii (which I've seen compared to DRM...actually, that kinda makes sense in heavy-handedness). The art style, CGI-intensive excluded, also reminds me a bit of 80's era, which is pretty nice. Ureshii's done four episodes of planned 26, so...
I'm watching some sports anime lately. Major, which I have watched since the beginning, and Eyeshield 21. I like Major best, since it's a much more realistic series, but Eyeshield is great for laughs. In addition, I watch a lot of other things that are still running, but I've mentioned most of it earlier. Well, just want to recommend Eyeshield and Major - I don't play sports myself, but they're both great entertainment, in my opinion.
One Piece. Its not bad but it does get silly sometimes.
Anime? I'd say Inuyasha, Prince of Tennis (a decent anime, after the first few episodes), and Ghost in the Shell.
I am watching devil may cry subbed by kuro-hana
I also recently watched the FF7 Last Order series (4 part). Even though it's subbed, I'd honestly reccommend it to any FF fan.
Devil May Cry. It's not bad at all. I certainly wouldn't call it brain-dead. It is what it is, and rather stylish at that. The animation is great, and depending on how deep they intend to go with the stories, potentially very much a must-see, especially for fans of the games.
It's tough to determine just where a show is going to go based on its first episode sometimes. I would've missed out on the excellence that is Haruhi had I judged it based on the first episode alone, and as that one turned out to be pretty great, it's tough to say what might happen with this one. I know that I'll be downloading the next episode to find out. :)
Oh, I do take issue with the Hellsing comparison though. My opinion that it's an overrated show aside, any similarities between it and DMC are entirely superficial. And if you're looking for superficial similarities, you'll find that very little is unique in the world of Japanese animation.
Finished Blue Submarine No. 6. I would say that it's strange, but then again it's anime, and generally anime is strange. I'd reccommend it, though I'm not positive that it's a must see. I'm also watching .Hack Roots (considering I can't find the other .Hack series, and Roots is the only one coming on T.V. at the moment).
Watched the first episode of Devil May cry as well. Not as great as I hoped it'd be, since it's Madhouse doing it and Madhouse never disappoint. But I guess for an action series it's alright. I'll keep watching I guess, since it has potential. The action scenes are quite awesome and I think I saw Trish in the ending. So I suppose the rest of the series might be good.
Just watched episode 36 of Death Note, geez Light youre a prick at times
Monster Princess, only watched the first episode so far. Also, watched the latest episodes of Death Note and Claymore.
I've just finished watching the melancholy of haruhi Suzumiya.
It's pretty good, except I didn't go in order.
I got the impression from the first episode that he's a prick all the time, and an insane one at that, even if he thinks that he's doing good for humanity.
Which reminds me that I need to find a good site from which to get the rest of that series. It seemed hella intriguing.
