Monty python and the holy grail.... classic
Well I'm not much of a movie person, but I'd say that of what I have seen Remember the Titans was my favorite--what can I say, I'm a bleeding heart (I actually cried during the end of Monsters Inc. >_>). Gattaca was also a great movie.
I'd still like to see: The Godfather, A Clockwork Orange, and Tokyo Godfathers.
I'm not much of a movie person either, since I just tend to rent movies and return them the next day without watching them again.
I'd have to say that some of my fav movies are American History X (really graphic film, still has a clear message even today), Man on Fire (It was better than I thought it'd be, esp with all the plot twists and the depressing ending), Troy, which was just fucking awesome, and Training Day.
The last Samurai
Friggin breathtaking movie 2 and a half hours of blood spilling i give it 6 out of 5 stars.
i'd like to add to my fav movies: million dollar baby. i saw it tonite and i thought the acting was superb. i liked the story alot and...i cried lol its an incredible movie.
Blade Runner. The combination of Sci-Fi and Film Noir elements is superb and extremely touching and life altering. It opened my eyes and changed the way I look at the world.
There is no scale for what I would rate it as, it's just too damn good.
Alien the frist one i found it funny when the alien pops out of the mans ribs and screechs and then flys off the table.
Vision Quest.
I was (at one time) a state champion in high school wrestling and this movie perfectly projects what wrestlers go through just to compete.
Maybe a simple question but is still a tough one. Saving Private Ryan. THere was nothing like seeing 500 U.S. Vets walk out a movie theater crying.
Support the War. Don't Support the War. But Damn Sure SUPPORT the TROOPS!!!
fight club is the best movie ever
Stephen King's "Shawshank Redemption" is the best movie ever.
Best movie... Hmm... Dawn of the Dead's remake. Shoot me. It'll only reflect.
12 Monkeys / Apocalypse Now
Twelve Monkeys wins.
Also, Trick Or Treat gets rad points for having Ozzy play a christian speaking out against 'devil music'.
My personal favorite would have to be The Thing
