um... did i download the right install file? I'm gonna try getting a differnt one from that site.

i downloaded another one and i got the same thing it's cdrwin3 the two install files i have are cdr39d-e and cdr39b-e they both siad same thing

why are you getting the older one there is version g up there.

I have never used there internal ASPI drivers myself either so that may be the prob or just a simple reset to complete the install will maybe fix it also.

or just use some existing CD software just not Alcohol.

Hey um i made it an iso with magic iso went to cdimage and picked allt he iso ones and none of them worked....

what CD burning progs do you have?

I have nero but i dont' know how to make a .nrg

Thats easy just start nero then close all the popup windows in it then click Recorder then Choose Recorder and pick the Image Recorder

now click File then CD Copy

okay then from there check it with cdimage?

one is "exe" and the others are ".rar"

When I clicked in this file ".exe"
He extracted this file ".img"

What should I do whth this file ".img" ???
And what the best Emulator can operate it ???

Run ISO in ePSXe will run the img ;), it's a shame you just an img or you would be able to burn it aswell without messing, img's usually come with a cue sheet or a ccd file used to burn through

This has nothign to do w/ emulation but what's the difference say i had ut2004 or farcry whats' the difference if i use alcohol 120% to make an img then mount it with that or if i used nero to make an img and mount it w/ daemon?



ALSO (EDIT) i made a .nrg of ff7 and it said under cdmage that it was a invalid format file or something...

alcohol has get arounds for PC CD game protection, though for emulation, alcohol is the last prog I would recomend, asides from anything it's the least widly compatable format I know
