What I would post if this were a typical elitist gaming forum.

A fair response to noobs .
I play guitar and I can't really read sheet music. I can read guitar tabs. Rocksmith is great if you wanna play real guitar.

I was looking more at the 2nd one since it's the cheaper of the two but the 1st one looks a little better(quality wise) and has more features for a little bit more.
which do you guys think is the better one to get as a starter?
The 61 key is probably the better choice seeing it's only $4/20% more. Short of Facebook/Craigslist/garage sales/thrift store/etc. you probably won't do any better. With enough searching of them you might find something from KORG, Roland, or Yamaha for cheap though.
I forgot about them .
Looks like they go for pretty cheap. More than Chinese junk if they offer shipping though :(. It's a wonder how the Chinese sellers make anything on stuff like this. I'm not knowledgeable on music keyboards but you may as well get MIDI in/out if you spend more.

I presume it can be powered by batteries since it has a compartment for it. The power requirement is on the KB though (9v positive center negative). I posted them as examples since you mentioned Casio :revwacko:.
