Gypsy will advocate for a 2-2-1-1-1 format. This ensures that the team who has the home field advantage, gets to play the majority or equal amount of games at home, other than away. The 2-3-2 format can sometimes hurt the holders of the homefield advantage, because if they lose the series in five games, they only got to play 2 games on their home field and had to play 3 games away.
