hated Vista when my dad got his laptop. not entirely glad it died tho.... the tweaks are there but with certain addons and apps you can go pretty far.

you can put a Linux install on it and get all the stuff you want to play on it. my personal favorite is Chromium, although that's more suited for netbooks than gaming. you *COULD* try a Windows install onto it.

one time i was trolling around a Mac forum and they had crap on their PCs about "iReplaced a PC" "better/safer than a PC" what they don't realize is that if anyone actually CARED about Macs they could crack them within a month. also, there hasn't been a Mac commercial in years, just iPad/Pod/Thing commercials and the fact that MSFT took their "I'm a PC, I'm a Mac" shtick and turned it around for Windows 7 commercials.
