Civic's are surprisingly spacious, my 6'2 brother has adequate legroom and headroom in the backseat. Back in the day his '67 GTO offered me less backseat legroom IIRC.Quote:

I'm 6'.
My folks have a Nissan Micra from some years back, Dad has no issues using it all the time and he's 6' 5". So yeah I suspect a lot more recent small Japanese cars are better designed for taller people. Males especially are getting taller in most countries anyway so that might be one reason.
I think it's mostly been rear space that's been increased lately.
