It's the Easter Beagle Charlie Brown
Series 1 of the new Doctor Who that started in 2005. Haven't seen it since it was on Sci Fi... back when it was Sci Fi and still a channel worth watching.
Boondocks, Season 4 episode 1. I had no idea they were making a new season since it's been at least 3 years. Color me surprised when I saw a commercial for it the other night.
You better believe I watched that shit - I love that show.
However, this new season seemed a bit tame compared to most of the other episodes. It's still better than Family Gut or the Simpsons IMO though.
Latest Shield. Lotsa stuff going on. Still great Wonder if we're seeing the beginnings of Cloak and dagger :thot: But probably not. They have to start wrapping this story arc though lest it drag on for too long. Even though it's good I kinda miss the days of the X-filey type episodes which this one kinda had a bit of along side the continuing story.
Latest Thrones. Can't really bash this one. It was pretty good. What i found interesting were little conversations between people setting certain things up that we didn't see in the book. If that makes sense. Tywin is fast becoming my favorite character :D Too bad he'll die soon.
Also started a run of Heroes since I've never gotten past the first few episodes of season 2. Man forgot how good that first episode was :P
Working on Voyager (season 5) and Corner Gas (season 3) still too.
I didn't know anyone was watching SHIELD.
I'm lying anyway because I know for a fact my step-brother I don't hate watches it religiously.
Finally decided to dive into season 1 of DS9, after all these years of putting it off.
Wild & Crazy Kids and Legends of the Hidden Temple
Series 2 of the new Doctor Who and season 2 of Deep Space Nine.
I'm also halfway through the complete run of Stargate Infinity. It's not a horrible show, if anything I might rate it above Stargate Universe, and while it did seem to predict several concepts that SG1 would later adopt, the show suffers from not having any real connection to the production and writing staff of SG1. And since it's aimed at kids, well, it's not exactly the most compelling story every told. Not that it could even do that, since it was canned before the actual storyline could have been finished... or even really pushed along that much.
The Sopranos and Game of Thrones.
Almost done with Sopranos, just started last season that is pretty much two seasons long. Pretty good actually, has lots of boring moments but when the shit hits the fan it really does. As for GoT I started about a week before S4 started airing and I watched all first three seasons within two days. GoT is pretty damn good.
Just finished binging Justified season 5. Better than season 4 I think (but not 2 or 3). You can see where it's going and it makes sense that season 6 will be the last (and a complete shitstorm). Started in midseason form right off the bat with people dropping like flies. Rapaport was good as Daryl Crowe Jr. Favourite performance and seasonal character from this season.
Watched Penny Dreadful Eps 1 + 2. It was very good. Highly recommended.
LEXX 4x13 - 769
Quote:
In order to get a lead on the whereabouts of the key, Prince goes along with a rather twisted plan cooked up by 790.
I'm only watching s4 to complete the series. I kinda lost interest at the end of s2.
Yeah, seasons 3 and 4 of LEXX weren't very good... and yet I still wanted more when it ended.
Up to season 6 of Deep Space Nine and also finished series 4 proper of Doctor Who, now it's just a matter of watching the specials to get ready for series 5.
MXC- A Japanese game show redubbed to be hilarious.I used to watch this on Spike tv,I think. I recommend it.Also Dynaman- a redub of Power Rangers that I watched in the 80's.
Watched season 2 of Vikings.
Well keep in mind that I'd be buying Babylon 5. I suppose I can always just buy season 1 first and go from there. At least there was a rerelease recently so I think they are all down around $10. Good to read some positive things about it though.
My boyfriend was trying to show my daughter and me some of the old cartoons he used to watch. Silver Hawks was...I didn't know what to think of it, I remembered watching C.O.P.S and I enjoyed watching MASK for the first time then I accidentally found a show I used to watch but couldn't remember the name of

Finally got around to watching some classic Doctor Who, up to episode 5 of the first season. It's so weird seeing the Doctor travel with three people, to see him be so weak and frail.
Classic Who is best Who
Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker are my favourites, but Patrick Troughton is good too. There are still some missing no 1 & 2 Doctor Who eps, but quite a few have been recovered over the years and released on DVD. Some episodes are animated reconstructions using original audio, to help complete a story that has mostly existing original episodes.
Edit:
Watched Metal Hurlant Chronicles S2.
One episode left in Marco Polo on the classic Doctor Who front, also burning through Futurama for what feels like the billionth time. But then, that show is so awesome that I'll likely start again when I finish the last episode.
Series 5 of new Doctor Who has stalled at The Lodger... I just can't get into the Eleventh Doctor or Amy.
Voyager. Phew almost done. Just have the series finale left.
Alas, poor Voyager, maligned by so much of the fanbase. A lot of what's been said is deserved, and yet I still have a place in my heart for most of the series.
Not Enterprise, though.
Also, trying to catch up on ToQger before I dive back into Shinkenger.
I dunno Voyager had good episodes but they go too ridiculous with the Borg and even Q. Said it before and I'll say it again - that little ship would have been assimilated right off the hop.
Enterprise was a prime example of a great idea gone horribly horribly wrong.
When DS9 was around I thought it wasn't that good, then the same thing happened with Voyager. Then Enterprise comes along and it was nice to have real sfx and widescreen, but the captain and that song are annoying  Then the new movies...well, it's all Trek I guess but it just seems to be getting more odd as time goes by. TNG pretty much stuck to the original idea.
TNG is the shit, mind it took a few seasons to get things straight. Still can't watch the first two.
On the phone or I'd get more detailed
I truly regret ever starting Power Rangers Samurai. Not even two episodes in and I've come to realize that I should have never watched this, especially not right after finishing Shinkenger and experiencing how awesome the source material for Samurai was.
Doing a run of Cheers right now. I watched a few episodes here and there in the first few seasons and then decided to start the long haul from season 4 onwards because first of all Woody comes into it and Secondly Diane won't be in it too much longer (She is so fucking annoying)
Been watching 24 S9, Defiance S2, Falling Skies S4, The Last Ship S1.
Finished Continuum S3. Watched The 100 S1 but didn't like it much tbh :booger:
Watching the first season of LEXX again after about a decade.
are we allowed to post individual threads about tv shows
For the most part I would say no, it creates a lot of clutter (If there were a whole bunch for different shows) and these types of threads tend to die out pretty fast anyhow. Not saying it doesn't happen and it's not against the rules. But this thread is kind of the best place. Only exception would be for say something really huge maybe that a lot of people watch like Breaking Bad (of which we have a thread about but think it's in Retro) or Game of Thrones or something but even then..
And Anime has it's own thread too.
Maybe something that covers a lot of different mediums would be ok for example I had a Star Trek thread but that covers a wide range with multiple different series, movies and games.
WAi, ok
What I watch:
MLP
Gravity Falls
Doctor Who
Accel World
Sword Art Online
South Park
...and many others
Currently watching Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and Gosei Sentai Dairanger.
