I thought they had a store pick-up option when you ordered.

Mind you I also ordered in store, I think they just wanted to try and get more money out of me.
I mean that I'll generally only use Amazon if I can't get it anywhere else besides Gamestop (I prefer supporting Amazon over Gamestop at this point). So I still get quite a few LEs/CEs from Amazon since Bestbuy, Walmart et al don't carry them. Well Bestbuy carries some but generally not what I pre-order. To put it in perspective I think the last thing I got from Bestbuy was the Halo 4 CE (SUCH DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THIS GAME) because they had a great deal on it. With Amazon I feel like I have to bitch about the packaging and get a partial refund or do an exchange 90% of the damn time.
Company websites are much preferred (unless they are ran like SE's and at least BAMCO switched from DR but I don't find myself pre-ordering Bamco CEs these days). XSeed unfortunately does not operate their store like Aksys, NISA and Iffy and I'm pretty sure they only put overstock up after the game has been out for awhile.
Pretty sure I saw the option when pre-ordering Tales of Hearts R.
Oh okay wtf this makes no sense. They don't really make money on shipping costs though so that's very weird.
Well fuck my comp just died. Won't get past the loading screen for the OS
>.>
Well if it works tomorrow I'll be fine, but it looks like I'm gonna have to salvage the graphics card and hard drive.
Good thing I can use school issued ipad for communication until I get another comp
Daaaamn Nem do you know what happened exactly?
pee on it
I would try repairing/re-installing the OS before ripping it apart physically. It's also possible the HDD might be at fault.
No idea, it apparently restarted on its own last night when we were all asleep, and was stuck loading when we woke up.
Tried several resets, taking things off, putting them on, opening the comp and dusting the hell out of it (holy shit it was a mess).
It can get to the startup repair stuff, but it can't Go past the loading screen otherwise.
I don't have a spare HDD to back stuff up. :/
Also a ten year old comp with no upgrades or changed parts in it sans the gfx card I put in.
I'm just looking on newegg for the clearance desktops that would still end up being an upgrade lol.
If you have enough free space on your HDD you could always partition a chunk of it using Partition Magic or something, then install the OS on that. Saving you the need of having another HDD.
Also, if you have the OS disc, you could always try to repair the current installation.
