There was OCTGN for the PC too. Some freeware CCG client. You had to obtain the Magic card info from illicit sources, and it relied on both players playing fair since the client itself didn't impose any rules and you could adjust your life points / draw cards at will, but it was pretty neat. Played a lot with Zuljin, an old member here, back in the day. ^_^

I decided to look into some low level tourneys and seems like anything I can get into would rape me and leave me on the bathroom floor. :lol

Yeah I simply haven't put enough money into MTGO for competitive tourneys.
Casual games I was mopping and got tons of compliments on my decks, but I looked at what people were playing in tourneys and it's just impossible for me to compete with.

Gee, I don't know if I got enough in Mystical Ninja to make Ray happy or if he'll want to grind up some more cash... I only got us each $99,999 :wacko:

I like I said, I've beaten it once on the actual console. I think I figured out the proper tactics during that playthrough, though, I could probably do it again now. It's just a matter of not getting too far ahead of yourself and moving slowly, and figuring out what works where and what you can avoid.

Also, all those bosses I remember having trouble with when I was a kid? Yeah, they are really easy.
As in, really easy.

and im back... after 30 mins on teh phone to the isp >.>

They neglected to give me the Config IP so i couldnt adjust the settings, Didnt Send the CDRom and didnt enable the wireless mode on it >.<

oh and on a side note the thing is BLOODY HUGE... its like teh size of a PSOne
