I'm roughly 10 feet from the screen. Makes for some huge Mass Effect'ing :D

I've even tried the USB charger that I had for my old phone. You would think it would be the same as a standard USB port, but the controller light just blinks and it doesn't charge.

If your talking about maybe the xbox play and charge it should. I do the same thing to charge my wireless.
