Of course it's not a strategy for the WHOLE game :wacko:

It just works really well up until about the time you set off for the south east.

And even after that, it's a pretty good way to weaken/finish a boss (as long as you can syphon MP/are stocked up on ethers/have MP regenerating equips/whatever ).

Plus he's going to be in for a hell of a rough time when he starts needing to buff his characters, considering his lack of reserve MP tanks. :wacko:

And if he decides to get all of the summons, marks, and hidden bosses, well....

He's fucked, basically.

I usually got 4 sets of 9-12 (would switch in only one character with full mp guage immediately after each set), so it basically was my strategy for many of the boss fights in the game. That and not die of course :P

I need to replay that game... took me about 90 hours to beat (game time of course) and I don't think I got even half of the hidden espers. Could be wrong though.

I must now go and pay homage to St. E. Claire.

Then you probably only completed half the game, seeing as the hidden espers were usually in hidden dungeons :P

And I doubt you fought the super bosses if you didn't get all the espers. Bigass dragons ahoy!

I know....

I remember fighting a few of those... it took a while, but I managed to beat a couple of them (after being destroyed a couple of times).

The cut of Other World from the game soundtrack is better, IMO. Heavier guitar, and the vocals are a dude that sounds angry.
