Pretty good! Had a kind of crappy and stressful week, but I got to spend a lot of time with friends on Friday and Saturday, so I've cheered up a bit. ^^;;;
We don't get any holidays at that time of the year here. D: Well... maybe one day for Christmas. Sad. I'm still going to decorate my room at Christmas, though. <3
How are things?
Okay. Made my first save in Hardcore at the beginning of Chapter 5 after leaving the game paused all night while I was at work.
It has begun. I've got a decent weapons loadout, a pretty good stack of ammo for my two main guns (Plasma Cutter & Pulse Rifle) and a handful of small stimpacks -- haven't encountered any medium or large ones yet, nor do I have the schematics to buy them.
Fuck this game just got intense. :dread: A stalker attacked me from behind in the room where you first meet them and I damn near had a heart attack thinking about having to start all over again. Thankfully he only reduced me about one-third of my health.
There, you have officially been updated on my life. :wacko: Whether you wanted to or not.
I'm doing well. Just watching scary movies.
Elie Four la la la.
Hi Elin. ^_^
I would recommend them, especially if you enjoy sci-fi horror. I'm really liking DS2 because it touched on the psychological trauma that Isaac experiences after the first one as the main "story" (it's not the driving point, but it's the underlying focus) and just has a more personal touch to it than the first one did. In turns of atmosphere and general dark corridor, creepy atmosphere space horror exploration game, I much preferred the first one.
However, if you want something truly terrifying, play through Dead Space 2 on Hardcore (unlocked after you've beaten the game at least once). This is one of the most stressful experiences of my life right now, simply because if I die I lose all of the progress I've made. My heart is pounding just entering rooms where I know a couple of enemies are going to spawn, and I keep worrying that it'll be the end of my run and I'll have to start over from my last save (which, up until 20 minutes ago, was the beginning of the game). :dread:
Truly terrifying. Any game that actually elicits any kind of physiological response is an A+ in my books. :top:
You're not the only one. It's been 8 years for me as of the end of September. ;_;
A little girl today ran in front of a car outside of Target. She was not hurt but her mother was royally pissed. "ELIN I TOLD YOU TO GET IN THE CARSEAT!" screamed her mother. It was a frightening ordeal to witness. Then again, the mother was preoccupied on her phone while the girl chased after her...
Curbing a gum craving, one piece at a time. ^_^
