Fallout post-apocalypse is pretty sweet, it's this pre-apocalypse that sucks.
it seems to make more sense to not allow gnomes to wield large weapons like claymores and double edge battle axes seeing as gnomes are physically small something that big would throw their balance off
depends on the location in the FO world. I would have really liked it if they expanded the FO universe to include the midwest and south or even europe or asia. FO lore talks about other places(which hasn't been touched on as far as I know)like illinois utah and wyoming(or maybe it was one of the other states around there)
after playing FO 3 and coming back to 2 I've seen that they've kept a lot of the lore intact and added some to it. I'm really going to have to try playing through FO tactics since the last time I tried it I didn't get very far in it.
Victory over log. Gyp was a weenie and I had to finish the few inches of cut (if that) with the chainsaw. I'll make the brothers suffer over the weekends as I get stuff cut up to manageable sizes .
an open world star wars game hmm that could be interesting if done right though if it's ubi it'll be far cry-wars
I have a mechanical keyboard to go with that PSU now :booger:.
D&D rules vary, I would not allow gnomes to use large weapons in my own campaign as DM, but if players want to allow things they have permission to.
because they were one of the 1st to do an open world fps which was unique and then they built on that and improved it. but yeah they kinda ruined shit when they just copy pasted this concept into everything they make anymore. I really liked far cry 3 and 4(4 more so than 3)
I also liked watchdogs but it felt like a tps far cry which wasn't too bad gameplay wise but the story was kinda meh(then again ubi isn't good at storytelling)
that's a good point. fantasy and scifi are great for rpgs storytelling setting and gameplay, the contemporary world doesn't lend itself to good rpg'ing mostly due to lack of good storytelling it always seems to rely on fantasy and scifi elements which makes it cliché.
the only good story elements for contempo is corruption and conspiracy. I had more thoughts on this subject but lost them.
