Now back to BB
Also, I applied for fasfa and a part-time semester of online classes. I'm feeling good about this! Yupppeee
Lurking is exactly it. Dunno why I don't post while here, but I am awaiting and psyching myself up for a business phone call. I plan on working with a gentleman who asks to remain anonymous on a reproduction of MIDINES as mentioned somewhere above. As I stated before, there is a lot of butthurt around piracy even when the original party is a single shit head thief.
The reason pirates choose to hide behind there cracktros is because of the damn butthurt and public debates! I suppose I stuck my head well out into the fire on this one, but it has brought up some very good points and yet more reason to hate "Wayfar" or "x|k" as he sometimes went by. I feel like Robin Hood, I really do.
My original point was that he stole lots of money from people who he had promised a product for, then never filled the orders nor did he ever refund them. His site is still up and taking orders, but in over two years he has been absent. My second point only recently came to light when I received some detailed photos of the internals of two revisions of MIDNES. The old ones use "Squeedo" which is a custom memory mapper created by "Memblers Industires." Memblers made his Mapper and cartridge so that people could essentially playback music on their NES in real time. I dunno if Wayfar borrowed the board or straight out stole it, but MIDINES was written onto them and marketed without any respect for Memblers. The later revision removed Memblers's name altogether yet kept his board and Custom Mapper.
That is a lot to take in, but my goal is to reproduce MIDINES so that people who lost money to wayfar and new people to get their hands on an NES synth. After a production run and the guarantee that it functions correctly, I will release all of my notes to the public so that others may take advantage. Hopefully we won't have people charging an arm and a leg for stolen goods...but if they do, at least they should have a product to show for it!
I et worked up so easily. Shouldn't have drank before speaking with this guy, but I feel like he shares the same opinions and disappointments.
IT IS A STORY OF REVENGE! A STORY OF LOST LOVE AND STUFF!
I understood almost all of those words in that post, Jazz.
