Redeemed yourself, you have.
Installing World of Warcraft (trial edition)
I figured for $1.99, a 14 day trial couldn't hurt. If I like it I can apparently use my son's account and create a character(?) so I don't have to pay another $14.99 a month.
When I tried to sign up for the free trial, I got the impression from it a lot of shit is missing from the trial version.
I didn't actually TRY it, because back then the assholes were only taking credit card info, so take that news with a grain of salt. They take Paypal now, but I can't be bothered getting out the trial DVD that came with my copy of Diablo out again. Fuck it.
But still, if you can essentially play for free via your son's account, why don't you, instead of bothering with the trial edition? See if you like it via the real experience, rather than a watered down shit version.
This thing takes FOREVER to install o_O
Someone else's WOW servers as in someone besides Blizzard? Sounds kinda like piracy.
Sprung, ask your kid this:
Horde or Ally.
PvP or PvE server.
After the install was finished I tried to create a new account. I entered the code on the manual, my personal info, and I get a file not found error. Twice.
Jase: this is the 14 day trial DVD...
