Ahh, tried Ikaruga... although I hate this kind of games, this one is rather sweet, and fun to play.
BEST FUCKING SCROLLING SHOOTER EVER.Quote:

Gran Turismo 4... What? Do I have to explain this? I started over, if that counts for anything. I have a fucking goal this time around.
Street Fighter 3 is fucking love. Hyper Street Fighter 2 is love as well, but damage is too damned high at default. And Akuma is too fucking hard to select.
Damn. I swear alot, don't I?
Brit obviously hasn't played Gradius Gaiden. Play that and come back to without any bullshit about Ikaruga being the best scrolling shooter ever.
Thank you.
Playing:
Kingdom Hearts: CoM
Drakengard
Star Ocean 3
I'm ranked 13th in the world overall on Forza at the minute. I've played 8 hours and everyone around me has played 20+. I rule the world.
I'm playing alot of MAMEoX. And on that, alot of Mark of the Wolves. Damned fine fighter, that.
Doom on psx. =)
Grabbed by the Ghoulies - Xbox. Might as well say it is Banjo-Kazooie on the Box, without Banjo, or Kazooie :P
Pretty nice little game.
Actually you're right, and I won't. NO shooter has a slicker gimmick than Ikaruga. If you want to go into other great shooters, I would have gone with RayStorm if I was you. That game runs shit, too. You picked Gradius. Die die die. :PQuote:

Pshh. Fanboys. :P
R-Type > All.
On topic: I'm currently playing Suikoden II. Reached the part right after you secure Teresa and bring her back to the castle.
sexy parodius on jap saturn
never gets old
but i have to play ikaruga horizontally
vertical shooters suck
No they don't. :PQuote:

That game. It rules. PERIOD. Haven't played that many shooters, as I'm not a great fan of them, but this one is not just about dodging every single bullet on-screen. Oh, I have R-Type Delta as comparison, haven't played the later Gradius episodes, and the less well-known shooters (this means any other series for me) - well, skip them. They can't possibly be that great. And while R-Type is quite sweet, it doesn't even touch Ikaruga. Perfect game mechanics, cool graphics, and a great deal of challenge.
And thus began my quest for the Treasure games I do not yet have. Gunstar Heroes was pretty freaking awesome, and I finished Guardian Heroes with a buggy/crappy/slow Saturn emu 20+ times. I plan to do that with Radiant Silvergun, too. :D
radiant silvergun is highly overrated
i only got it because it was cheap :sa-P:
i just suck at vertical,
so if a game has a horizontal mode
like ikaruga,gunbird and such
ill play that
Just started playing Fire Emblem
GBA games are so funky. this game is just....WOW!!!
Seems that people is not playing these days :P
I'm playing Lego Star Wars. Although I've never been a SW fan, the game is cool and its really funny with loads of details the fans will love, old school gameplay.
+: loads of chars to use, lovely all of em :P
-: short, too short...
I just started playing Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly (or Fatal Frame, as you american homos call it). I'm surprised, I was worried it wasn't as scary as the first game, but so far, this seems scarier. I'm looking for a ghost, and of course, that bitch who follows me scares the fuck out of me when I bump into her.
I'm playing Power Stone... a great DC fighting game, much like Super Smash Bros. I still suck at it, but I'm getting better and better... ;)
Golden Eye: Rogue Agent and Star Fox: Assault, both for the Gamecube.
Damn fine games.
Katamari Damacy...
Not much to say about this game... other then it's the best thing since fire.
I second that, GundamGuy. The last level is just insane.
viewtiful joe 2
it seriously needs a two player mode
Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory this games is quite class but difficult.
Jak 2:Renegade am not liking this as much as the first one as it has sort of lost the essence of what made it good. I don't like the usage of guns. Alot more difficult than the first one which is a plus.
this thread was started 9 months ago, and is getting somewhat large. Maybe post older than 3 months should be archived? oh well, currently playing Chaos Theory, Pacific Assault and trying to finally finish all races and S licence in Gran Turismo 3.
Edit: Katamari Damacy would be in my top 10 if the controls weren't so difficult to master. maybe i'm just a wuss, but it's like working a bobcat and a helicopter at the same time.
Playing God Of War on god mode. Extremely fucking hard.
x-men legends on the GC. good game though i think the graphics need a big face lift considering its on a GC.
guardian heroes for jap dc
sheppard dude tears arse
infinite otg combos
Hm? You mean Dreamcast? I only know of Guardian Heroes for Saturn, and the Advance Guardian Heroes for GBA... is there one for DC, or I'm missing something? :wacko:Quote:

Katamari Domacy is the best thing since fire.
Oh, sorry. How can I still have a hangover? It's fucking wonderful actully. Katamati. He's also liek "omgish besterst low only to Metal Gear" <- He did write that. So, genre? ps2?

For example, one person, using the DS' stylus, can draw Kanji characters onto their Picto-chat screen while others try to guess their meaning.
I was playing Untold Legends of PSP today. Fun game, I just wish it was officially online.
Me? Just one, Rush2049 on PJ64

I'm playing Final Fantasy VI, with ZSNES. In fact, it's open in another window as I type this.
Currently trying to finish Mario 64 DS and also playing Sims (The Urbz) on the DS..
Not getting that much time to play though.. honestly..
