aren't ps2 bios supposed to be 4 megs?

nope thats the correct size and a correct bios dump, there may have been others that were dumped a diff way though I spose, it wouldn't be the first time.

Hey i ha FFX but there's 4 zips and in them are .gi and the readme sys to unzip them all then run the batch file but the problem is there all labeleed the same thign nd i need them all in the same fodler... what do i do will renaming them screw the bartch file up?

ZHey i've been playing ff7 and at the part wer you need the keystone and dio says fight for me and you enter the arena it freezes but music keeps playing.... is this were a cd chnage needs to happen?

no, you don't change disks, what are you playing this in? like graphics plug-ins and emulator?

Ok well squaresoft games seem to work better in ePSXe 1.52 in case you're using 1.60 also, Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.6, Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75, Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75 and Pete's D3D Driver 1.75 and fixes for ff7

If you using Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75, Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75 or Pete's D3D Driver 1.75 go on to config > video > configure, tick the special game fixes box and tick the ff 7 fix at the top

oh okay thanks and do you know any other good systems i could get or roms for ps1 etc?

You could make a thread in the trading post saying what type of games you like and people might give you a few suggestions.

That's not the problem it's the specific thing with the keystone in the gold sucer when i need it to get to the temple of the antiencts he asked me to fight and i start to go fiht i run in and i think it's going to start a battle or somethign and it freezes but music keeps playing


I went into the special game fixes and checked allt he ff7 ones and still no dice... are you sure it's not the part were i need to change to disc 2?

Hmm try Pete's soft driver 1.4 as video plugin. That's the one I've been using to play FF 7, and it worked perfectly

i tried pete's soft driver 1.54 and it started something up (i dindt' adjust it so the whole game was going VERY fast) and then it turned black and made fnuny noises...
