I went into one like 6 months ago cause I knew they had a game I wanted on sale (Rhapsody Marl Kingdom Chronicles). Found its empty box in their tiny Switch section and carried it up to the counter. The cashier looks at it in confusion as they have no idea what the game is. Pops open a drawer behind the counter and looks for the cart, doesn't find it. Checks another drawer, nope. Another drawer, nope. Looks through the PS4/5 drawers, nope. Clicks at the computer while sounding out the spelling of the title on the box. Walks off to the back stock room, nope. Checks the first drawer again, nope. He waves over at a coworker and shows him the box. The coworker looks at the box in confusion and says something like "I don't think this is a game we stock". They both click at the computer. They both look through that first drawer again. It's been like 10 minutes, he looks at me and says something like "we seem to be sold out, would you like me to call another location to see if they have stock?". I say sure so he calls up another location, reads them some product number from the computer he's been staring at. The other location says they have a copy after a moment, so I drive away to the new location. Walk up to the counter at the next location, and they just have it sitting next to the till waiting for me to show up. I have no idea if the first store just had no idea what the game was.
