I will say this, stuff like Holy Wars and Hangar 18 is fun as shit to play on guitar. :wacko: So many good riffs in those songs. He's a good guitarist but musically he comes across as incredibly narrow minded in interviews. Like I think Chris Poland (old of his old guitarists) plays jazz or something now and there was one interview Mustaine seemed to keep going on about how Poland was wasting his time because any music other than metal is nonsense and requires no talent, which is hilarious because as good a guitarist as Mustaine is I don't think he could play jazz to save his life. He just seems to bash on anything he doesn't understand. Some of the shit he's written is awesome but for that reason he's not really someone I'd look up to musically.
