I have feeling that they wouldn't be exactly prominent figures in the movie, it would focus more on their kids Jacen, Jaina and Anakin (named for Vader of course :whistle: ) all three of which eventually become Jedi..

Also no one can claim he doesn't accept the expanded universe since that's exactly what they're going to do even if it's different I can't believe any writers on board wouldn't draw upon aspects from what's been written the last 20-30 years.
