Galaxy of Terror
A half decent Alien knock off with glorious practical effects and sets. The last few minutes had the vague beginnings of a plot beyond everybody just being murdered, yet it was never expanded upon.
Starcrash
I'm pretty sure any given episode of MST3K had a higher budget than this film.
Interstellar (2014).
Really long and at least half of it was boring. Maybe more
I wouldn't say it's a good movie.
Battle Beyond the Stars
Actually a pretty great little cheap film from 1980 which was shamelessly riding the wave of much more popular films like Alien and Star Wars. The characters weren't the strongest and the pacing could have used some work, but it didn't take too much away from the movie. At least for me. Glorious practical effects, characters who, as I said weren't the strongest yet still managed to make me feel something and proved, if slightly, interesting, a bad guy who chopped body parts off of prisoners to graft onto himself, actual planet side combat in a generally space based film... it's worth a watch.
Not of This Earth
Bare breasts EVERYWHERE.
Basic Instinct
I was underaged when it came out, and largely forgot about its existence when I was old enough to properly watch it. Luckily I somehow didn't spoil the movie in the last 20 years despite how iconic the movie is, I had no idea where the movie would go. Going into the movie totally blind, holy fuck, terrific movie.
Spoiler warning:
2001: A space oddysey. What an epic movie.
Fury (2014)
Moontrap (1989).
Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising
Not even five minutes in and I already hate the "heroes" for the massive spite they showed when they blew up a statue of Megatron after his death. May as well also get to work removing any and all information about him before he became the leader of the defeated faction as well, just to ensure the future only remembers him as the bad guy!
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).
Unbroken (2014).
What We Do in The Shadows-It's a movie about vampires in New Zealand that have a documentary crew follow them around. I enjoyed it, really funny and I recommend it.
Robin Hood: Men In Tights
Need I say more about this awesome movie?
Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift
No comment on this one, though Vin Diesel at the end just made me go awe.
The Muppets: Most Wanted
It's a nice movie but most portions of the movie did not made me laugh or giggle.
Taken 3.
Still doing a good job with these!!!
3.5/5
Birdman, it was exactly as I expected, with no serious differences.
