Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle
Shock Waves (1977).
Karateci Kiz (1973).
Robot Jox
A great little movie with glorious practical effects and models with a sort of decent post apocalypse nuclear war setting. I've heard people talk about how this movie isn't that good, but I don't understand what their problem is.
Stay Tuned
Horribly dated, but it's still an amazing work of parody and darker humor. Could have done without the music video section, though.
Alien. The first one.
Recently saw Dumb and Dumber To. Pretty decent movie, not as good as the first, but not bad.
Not a movie, but meh.
I started re-watching Breaking Bad. As of yesterday, I'm on the fifth episode.
Nazis at the Center of the Earth
What other movie has a transformer cyborg Hitler with a laser cannon in his chest? None, that's how many!
Android Insurrection
The cheapest, lamest film I have ever seen. Not even The Asylum can match this.
The good, the bad and the ugly.
Found my favourite movie
Mom and Dad Save the World
Jon Lovitz as dictator of a planet full of idiots? What's not to love?!
Birdemic: Shock and Terror
I... I just... no. No. Finally a movie that makes MANOS look like a competent piece of film making.
Casshern (live action 2004 film)
I have no idea what I saw.
Also, it seems I never mentioned that I watched Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen and Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z about a month ago. Well, I did.
永遠の0 (aka Eien no Zero, aka The Eternal Zero) 2013.
What can I say about this film...some parts made me cringe, I didn't like the actor that played the grandson or even that particular character.
But besides that I was fairly impressed with the film overall. I had read a little about it beforehand and many people have been critical of it for a wide variety of reasons.
I was close to tears on several occasions.
Dinosaur Island
Still not as bad as Birdemic, but it came real close.
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
A good, albeit flawed film.
Went through the 4 Brosnon Bond movies recently. Still good :top:
I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!!!
Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959)
It could have done without the nearly 50 minute wind up time before they actually got under the ground, and it could have really done without the lizards as dinosaurs and/or monsters, but it was still an overall fine film. And of course, it's the best movie with a duck as a spelunking party member, I can tell you that much.
The Flight That Disappeared
Yet another film that had a nearly 50 minute wind up that it could have done without. I was expecting a lengthy ethical and philosophical discussion about the nature of man's desire to create weapons of destruction and how it would affect the future of the world. Instead I got some people hanging out in a rock filled area with a smoke machine going full blast saying the future may or may not happen and that three people were guilty of a potential crime against life due to them having a potential part in making a weapon that may potentially destroy the world. Then the last few minutes is all about it being a dream, but not really.
Sort of like Contact, only without the big impressive device thingy.
Invisible Invaders
"Hm, we have this alien invasion flick idea, but the kids these are are also getting into zombies... so how do we work with this? I know! The aliens can turn dead bodies into zombies! BRILLIANT!"
And then they made a horrible movie.
