I'm not really bothered by that feature being removed, seems pretty minor in my opinion.

Biomutant has gameplay elements similar to Dragon's Lair to avoid and survive hazards, which you'd only notice if you know what Dragon's Lair is and about prehistoric times. It's got a lot of dialog and cutscenes, which is okay because then it's be an action game only.
Did not expect having to fix my AMS for the second time in less than a month...Stupid thing. But got it fixed and can get back to 3D printing in my free time. :lol
Arcade. Also, there is Don Quixote which has more intuitive button sequences but same mechanic.
Also, I'm playing Biomutant as a Sentinel(Hyla breed with all stats balanced) which has better armor and is versatile in melee. I raised every stat once and then raised Vitality and Strength equally on Normal difficulty and got a long way into the game without having any difficulty. I decided it would be the equivalent of a Nord with the heavy melee weapon so I raised cold resistance to max on character creation and up to 45% as I leveled up. It would be 55% next upgrade, once strength and vitality are max I'm going to add more agility to raise movement speed. And I am doing a good character playthrough, makes it more superhero.
getting closer to finishing FF2. I'm currently doing the side stuff before I continue the main quest. I know remember why I never finished it the end half of the game is a slog.
