It does, varies from brand and quality.

I'm sure home made has a nice *taste* but I like whole wheat because it has less carbs than white plus it tastes good.

Banana bread is pretty good.

You are right about making your own white breads though. When I lived with my bro for the summer after my freshman year of college he had a breadmaker and always had a fresh loaf made.
