NO, DON'T. YOU DON'T DESERVE NICE THINGS.

You didn't even watch the video, you bum.
I totally did. I get the points. They are alright points.
BUT YOU ALREADY GOT YOUR EXCLUSIVES, STOP TAKING OURS. YOU ARE NOT SUPERIOR. OTHER WORDS THAT ARE BIASED. :P
Well, uh... you can totally have The Witcher 2 in exchange for DS.
Oh wait, TW2 is only coming out on 360. Well fuck, there goes my witty comeback.
Ok now I want a 3DS...

DS will never happen on PC.
Not that it matters, no one needs mods that "fix" the game. Play the game right ya bums.
People should be happy at least it's on 360 as well now. Of course the glorious PC master race deserves all games, my bad. XD
Wow you guys sure are defensive. You're right that it might never happen, doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool as hell. Personally, if there was an exclusive I really liked, I wouldn't be against the idea of others experiencing it as well. See: TW2, mentioned just above, which I'm glad is getting ported to the 360. Not sure I fully understand the "my precious" mentality over exclusives.
(Also, that's not why modding was mentioned in the video, but whatever.)
Comments like this always pop up when PC gaming is mentioned. It's getting a bit old. I know some of us are arrogant, but I still don't like being antagonized.
Yes. Yes, we do. BOW BEFORE US, YOUR GODS!
And so I'm not just responding "like for like", while Dark Souls would be interesting on the PC, it doesn't seem like a good idea from a cost-benefit analysis. Leaving aside the engine itself, which was (theoretically, at least) optimized for the PS3 and X-Box 360, the control scheme and menus would probably have to be reworked to avoid complaints about "consolification" or whatever word people use. All considered, Dark Souls is still a fairly niche title, and I'm not all too sure that a move to the PC would expand its market sufficiently to account for the expense of development for a wide range of hardware infrastructures as well.
I'm aware of this, but when half the posts concerning the game consist of "why doesn't X work the way I want it to", I figure it's just a matter of time.
With no one realizing there's usually a reason why X doesn't work the way you want it to.
Namely because you're supposed to work around how it does work.
Besides, we all know the only reason people want DS on the PC is so they can pirate it.
Without ruining the game's design, that is.
Pirated console versions.
Offline play. :lol
The simple fact it's already on 360 means porting it to PC would be a trivial matter at this point, plus it's the sort of game that would fit right in with the platform's audience. It'd be daft NOT to port it. But then again, the fly in the ointment is From Software and Namco Bandai are both Japanese, and it's rare for Japanese companies to give a fuck about PC gaming since it's practically non-existent on their home turf. Which is a shame for the rest of us, but sadly that's the way it is.
