^^ thanks for the pointer, researching. :D
beat muramasa the demon blade.
ending was a bit of a let-down, but as a game goes, pretty big.
prefer odin sphere if i'm honest. :P
Action Hollywood, an arcade game so obscure that GameFAQs doesn't even seem to have a page for it.
Legendary (Xbox 360).
The original arcade Killer Instinct.
^^ great game.
if you have a computer (low specs) search for 'KIxxx1.2 RC2 PC' by SPPV. :D
it uses the cabinet harddisk images for it's rom bank.
there's an xbox original version too. :P
both works great after a little tweaking.
....
beat lemmings, and thanks to whdload, i didn't have to write down every password for levels advanced.
Still on the arcade front, I just finished The Legend of Silkroad, a Korean attempt at doing the arcade D&D games, only with 3D models that look like they were made for the Dreamcast and some cheap bosses to consume coinage.
The Fairyland Story, which is like Bubble Bobble, only the last ten or so levels are total bullshit and designed to make you game over constantly because of how broken and unfair they are. I don't think anybody tested them.
F1 2016 :platinum:
:hump: :platinum: :hump:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, minimum health run on hard mode. & before that I finished the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy.
Arcade Game Series: Ms Pac-Man :platinum:
Pokemon Sun 100%. Definitely the easiest pokemon game to complete thus far with only 300 mons everything is available in-game unless its exclusive which is nice. The experience as a whole is definitely the best thus far in the series hands down but some things that were suitable for veteran players have been altered or removed making it difficult to deal with even something as simple as growing berries.
I don't want to list all the things wrong with it to make it seem like I have a negative impression so I'll safely say I can recommend this game to anyone new or old to the franchise there are a couple things that you may not like but it's few and far between with the good stuff.
Give a lot and take a little that's the best way I can summarize.
Life is Strange.
Bae>Bay, but I had to respect Bae's wishes
Knights Contract on Page difficulty. Will be replaying the game on Hexen Knight next.
Dragons dogma. Actually quite a fun game once you get into it, it is a bit cheap in places and does require you to do a lot of grinding. I've got to do a second playthrough for the :platinum: I would have done this sooner but had a go on the DLC part which is I didn't need to :S
I just spent a few hours earning the last handful of trophies i needed to plat Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. It has become my 23rd :platinum:.
I don't know exactly why you'd want to bootleg a console game and make it an arcade game, but they did it with Sonic Blast Man 2 Special Turbo. It's just the original, so it's still decent.
Still on the arcade front is Sonic Boom from Sega. Back in 1987. A terribly generic top down shooter with bombs and all that, it really had no personality to it at all.
Sorcer Striker, on the other hand, has style and flair all its own. A fun romp through a high tech and high fantasy setting.
Kingdom Grandprix, the follow up to Sorcer Striker, is a rather curious mix of shooter and racing game. Lots of reused bosses and locations from the first game, yet most of them aren't actually reused assets, which is nice.
Air Assault has at least a neat gimmick for the final boss as a multiple stage air fortress. But the rest of the game is pretty much your standard top down shooter.
Battle Garegga has a really neat way of getting bombs by collecting bullets from destroyed enemies. But good lord, the rank management in this game is important...
Air Attack by a Korean company called Comad who do not know how to do top down shooters. Your ship is far too large, the enemy ships are far too large, half the weapons are terrible, several sages look like you're flying over a city made in SimCity 2000, there's about four enemies total in the game (and one of them only appears in the last two stages) and half of any given stage is devoid of any action, making you feel that the stages are exceedingly long.

Then this happened. Yes, they put the Earth into this one area five times.
Air Gallet, which has the weirdest final boss I've seen in one of these games.
Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars is a pretty generic run and jump game without any kind of satisfying ending... or any ending at all, outside of an "The End" screen. No climax, no real reason why you're doing anything.
http://i.imgur.com/eUnSHSQ.png
And it wouldn't be a Japanese game without something like this.
Alien Sector, brutal and hard as nails. The final boss is also a weird thing where you need to be swallowed to kill it. Sort of like how to do extra damage to the Queen Metroid, you need to go into its maw and blow up its insides.
http://i.imgur.com/3kOrnpH.png
And your character, clad in a space suit and a gun shooting aliens is a female. A year or so before Samus. Hmm... perhaps they took some inspiration from this...
Alien Storm, set all of the aliens on fire!
Alien 3: The Gun, a game that had almost nothing to do with the actual film and had a massive downer of an ending. But it was still fun.
Replayed Alligator Hunt for the first time in a few years... and good lord. It's made by a Spanish company that was aiming so hard for a stereotypical 90s vibe that it hurt. Kid as the hero on a skateboard with a backwards cap on a skateboard and the "soundtrack" is exactly one poor attempt at sorta rock that it made Sonic Chronicles on the DS sound amazing. The voices are also something special, with the kid sounding like a 30 year old man speaking poor English.

But hey, at least you get orders from a buxom blonde lady with a serious case of DSL.
I just beat Majin and the Forsaken kingdom and got my 24th :platinum:
Andro Dunos for the arcade, a meh space shooter with a meh gimmick where you could switch between multiple weapons on the fly and power them up. They also had charged versions of said weapons.
Aqua Jack, one of those rare water based hovercraft shooters.
Rapid Hero, which has the neat concept that the boss of every level is the same guy, only in various different ship/weapon suits.
Arkanoid, a classic that doesn't need much said about it.
And then the follow up, Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh.
Arkanoid Returns, which oddly had no bosses. I don't feel like playing the PS1 version that has 200 levels just for bosses...
Asura Blade: Sword of Dynasty, a rather generic fighter...
... and its follow up, Asura Buster: Eternal Warriors, which is just as generic.

The game is just as terrible as the title screen.
Avengers in Galactic Storm, which was truly awful.
Avenging Spirit, a game with an interesting concept of being able to possess your enemies to use them for combat.
I beat Gears of War Ultimate Edition on Normal mode last night. It's the first time I've played the game and watched the cut scenes. Despite having finished the game countless times in the past 10 years. :dread:
Bad Dudes Vs DragonNinja

Sounds good.
http://i.imgur.com/SSHq48x.png
The cheap bastard!
Bang Bang Busters
http://i.imgur.com/KVpTDj8.png
The evil of Honey Rabbit.
Bang Bead, some kind of weird Pongish game.
Baryon Future Assault, just another generic space shooter from Korea.
Batman, an incredibly cheap feeling beat 'em up. If not for the license, nobody would have cared.
Batsugun, an amazing shoot 'em up that suffers from a poor story and an even poorer translation.
Battle Chopper, an odd little game of a helicopter with legs.
Battle Flip Shot, which it seems was popular enough to get a sequel, which was Bang Bead. Same weird Pongish gameplay.
Shadow of Destiny! Such a great game!
Loved the complexity and story that comes with traveling through time.
Would love to play more games like this.
Also beat FF15. but thats not to surprising with it just being released. It was ight.
I just spent the past few days mopping up trophies i was missing on Dragon Quest Heroes the world trees woe and the blight below. It has now become my 25th :platinum:.
Just got my last few achievements in Sixty Second Shooter Prime on Xbox One. Awful game, but an easy 1000G.
Bay Route, which is basically just Contra. An inferior Contra.
The arcade version of KiKi KaiKai, which is both great on its own and my 900th beaten game.
Killer Instinct 2
TwinBee, one of the most boring arcade games I have ever played. How this became a franchise is beyond me.
Detana!! TwinBee, which was far better than the original.
TwinBee Yahho!
best of Best, the worst arcade fighting games there is. Perhaps only Human Killing Machine could top it for the worst fighting game ever.
http://i.imgur.com/yF7mEye.png
But then, HKM could never top this.
Big Fight: Big Trouble in the Atlantic Ocean which had a large amount of playable characters for a beat 'em up as you actually gain the bosses as characters. Too bad you only get some of them very late in the game.
finished castlevaina curse of darkness tonight. it's pretty good there are areas it's lacking in like the music and the asinine way to reach "hidden areas" the bosses needed a bit of adjustment as well some of the higher level bosses were a cake walk and some weak ones were harder than they should have been.
I just finished killzone shadow fall a short while ago.
Pokemon Colosseum randomized.
I had the absolute crap luck how I finished this was my only two good pokes one purified Meganium and my starter Salamence.
Everything else was crap.
I had heard about pokemon colossem once or twice in the past and wanted to try it, but until your post today, i had managed to forget about the game over time. I assume the "randomized" thing is some kind of mod or special game mode? Grabbing it off the main site at the moment. Would be kinda irritating if the whole game is randomized every play through.
Okay, so I don't really feel like I've "fully" beaten it, but, well, Hot Wheels: Burning Rubber, I've unlocked all the cars and beaten all the races in the "Grand Prix" mode. If you're on the Discord server, you know I only got that on Christmas, so that's basically beating it in a day.
What will it take for me to feel like I've "fully" beaten it? Simple: Buy all upgrade parts for all vehicles. That's just going to be a matter of grinding out races in the "Grand Prix" mode to make money to buy parts.
Big Karnak
http://i.imgur.com/zQUgNpW.png
Gee whiz, I wonder what this is a clone of.
Bio-ship Paladin, which has seizure inducing explosions for bosses.
Biomechanical Toy, which is sort of like Earthworm Jim... only not as drug inspired.
Black Heart, which gets real dark at the end.
Black Tiger
http://i.imgur.com/pR50Vy4.png
He is a large fellow.
Blade Master, a game in a fantasy setting complete with a not thinly veiled at all reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger (just calling him Arnold and being HUGE) with a princess who looks and dresses like a lady from 1991 Earth.
Blast Off, a game that was so visually dull that the only way to save it was to rip off the Death Star (but they added a ring around it, so it's totally not the Death Star), have you do a trench run along the (not) Death Star, go inside of it and blow it up, so that its remains looks like the unfinished Death Star II from Return of the Jedi as the final level.
BlaZeon, which is better than the SNES version, but only slightly.
Power Instinct, which is basically just Japan: Fighting Game Edition.
Power Instinct 2, which is basically just Japan 2: Now With A Magical Girl.
Gogetsuji Legends, basically Power Instinct 2.5, in which you can play as a tag team of a magical girl and her buxom adult transformation to beat up everybody.
Matrimelee, in which you must beat up a princess to prove your worth in marrying her.
http://i.imgur.com/zXE9BK0.png
Well, with a screen like that...
Purikura Daisakusen, an isometric game with shape changing magical girls, because why not.
Blazer, an isometric tank game that also includes helicopter and boat sections for some reason. I wanted a fully tanky tanky pew pew game, not a mostly tanky tanky pew pew game!
http://i.imgur.com/xdPB5pN.png
Yep, I got to enjoy Blazing Star, the game that created fail on the Internet.
http://i.imgur.com/tgUpcTj.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/806eJwa.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/yHEEYLU.png
It's also super animu.
The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim SE PS4 :platinum: & 100%.
Blood Bros., while a fun game, is inferior to Wild Guns for the SNES. You should play that instead.
Blue Hawk, yet another generic shoot 'em up.
Pulstar, which is just ball bustingly hard.
Blue's Journey, which was just not fun. It has multiple endings, but none of them are really that good, much less amusing for the bad ones.
I just finished Lego Harry Potter 1-4 and 5-7 recently. I know it isn't exactly new, but it was fun.
Bomb Kick, which is... something...
Bonze Adventure, where you play a monk who needs to beat up the god of the underworld.
Nutjitsu on Xbox One - 1000G
Horrible horrible ID@XBox game.
AC black flag amazing game!
Its only randomized once. You can re-randomize it but you need an untouched ISO to do that.
Essentially its a program that goes into the code and just goes nuts.
So you can have a Squirtle thats a Grass type for instance and the nice thing is your the one that selects what gets randomized.
Id recommend playing Vanilla Colosseum before you try it that way you understand the game first.
Personally XD Gale of Darkness is 10x better.
I beat Kirby Robobot and DQ7 3DS just recently.
KR is another solid Kirby entry as good as Triple Deluxe.
DQ7 was a blast to play but towards the endgame it was a little tedious. Poured almost 80 hours before I got to the credits x.x
