Good luck, hope it works out for you.
half an hour before anything good is on tv god I'm bored :bore:
Stinks about the PS3. Here's hoping you're able to get your money back.
FEAR is a more demanding game than Oblivion and it has engine issues.
There are optimization mods for Oblivion too.
Oh PSN, you never change
*cat noises*
I was running morrowind on a [email protected] netbook with 1GB RAM and Intel GMA. If your laptop can only probably run morrowind, slap whoever you bought it from.
Think he said his laptop was a dual core (no idea which kind, there's tons of them) 2gb ram and think it was some lower end Intel HD GPU. I think he could run Morrowind and Oblivion both with some tinkering on Oblivion - certainly no worse graphics settings than what it runs on the PS3 too.
I mean hell I got Skyrim working (720p) on that old core2duo 2ghz(?) 4gb ram with an Intel GMA 945 laptop that I bought from Drageuth 7 years ago. Took some tweaking and maybe a mod/patch or something (might have even used 3Danalyzer) for the GPU but it worked. Of course that laptop ended up melting eventually :lol
That was the same laptop I got FFX working with PCSX2 reasonably playable then too - which as you recall you didn't believe me :P
Skyrim would load into game on the laptop I mentioned above but the fog was solid and opaque. Once in a while some face would be close enough in the carriage to poke through, but not even close to playable.
FFX...reasonably playable... I'm thinking 4-8FPS on a menu driven game. Am I in the ballpark? :D
