Watched Silent Hill twice yesterday, amazing film. The story may not be exactly like the games but it captures the atmosphere down to a tee.

Watched Silent Hill twice yesterday, amazing film. The story may not be exactly like the games but it captures the atmosphere down to a tee.
last night was a good night for movies.
Dr. Strangelove or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
and
Half Nelson.
12 and Holding is my new favorite movie. I haven't finished watching it, but some of the scenes are making my feel slightly awkward. Awkward in a creepy sexual way. Then there are some just downright awesome scenes with this fat kid who is getting back into shape and eating healthy. That 12 year old boy is my new role model.
Van the man 2. My friends actually wanted to rent it, and they did. I need better friends.
/5.
Oh, I got to select movie a while back, we went with trainspotting, since I hadn't seen it in a while.
4/5.
I've seen I Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, that was so hilarious.
Letters from Iwo Jima. It was okay I guess.
Rush Hour 3. It's quite funny and Jackie Chan is still a great Martial Arts fighter, despite his age, but I prefere the first two parts.
7/10 :)
Saw The Kingdom today it was disappointing and just bad.
Saw not too long ago, Groundhouse (Death Proof & Planet Terror). Both great films, which have a very oldies sense to them.
Planet Terror didn't look that great to me, but I LOVED Deathproof.
The Kingdom and X-Men III these past two days.
X-Men was alright.. Not as good as I hoped it'd be but it was good. The Kingdom was good too, though far too shallow on both its main themes (politics and Islam.)
PROTIP: Hollywood is the wrong place to look for deep commentaries on Islam.
The Constant Gardener. Always good.
Shrek the Third.
Lost and Delirious.
pirates 3 and anchorman.
I never saw anchorman the whole way through, so I watched it. 8/10 ;P
Pirates was pretty good, despite it's pretty fucking confusing. 7.5/10
Gone Baby Gone and American Gangster.
Gone Baby Gone was pretty cool and American Gangster was fabulous.
Halloween remake. Wrong Turn 2. Grindhouse (Death Proof)
Wrong Turn 2.
The Simpsons Movie.
Return to House on Haunted Hill.
Ma femme... s'appelle Maurice.
Few others I can't recall.
Tried to watch the latest Potter movie, but, I couldn't. Usually I like them, but this one, from start, bored me. I also managed to see Nightwatch and Daywatch. Interesting movies.
Back to School
The Accidental Spy
Bullit
Transformers
Arthur
The Batman vs Dracula - The Animated Movie
Room 1408, just rented it a few days ago, pretty good movie.
Forced my girlfriend to watch 300, then she forced me to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Fair trade if you ask me. Surprisingly, we both liked both movies :P
Resident Evil Extinction.
Novocaine

absolutely brilliant film, with a cliffhanger ending. I always knew those dentists were kinky bastards.
Gosford Park
i can't speak the praises of Robert Altman enough. The man is a genius. And evil. But this is good evil. Watch it with a sick & guilty pleasure afterward.
Gone Baby Gone- Good
Michael Clayton- Great
American Gangster- Meh...ok
Big trouble in little China, Prey, and Flood. I saw these a few nighths ago, and enjoyed them all.
Resident Evil: Extinction
Damn, that was a bad movie. Though the convoy story could have been good as a standalone movie if the heroine had never been written in.
Watched Delta Farce just now, pretty good movie.
30 days of night
I was expecting it to be a bit over the top but turned out to be awesome.
Let's see..
The Departed - Good movie. Loved the direction, the music and the twist ending. Would've preferred at least to see one character remain alive by the end, but it was good.
Star Wars: Episode IV, V, VI - The best of the lot was V, which is the Empire Strikes Back. The other two were below average. I'm aware they're supposed to be classics, and I can see that they were innovative for their time, but the movies were predictable as shit, and had a few poorly directed moments.
Euro Trip - Like any other movie of the genre: entertaining but shallow.
Pi - This is the motherfucking win. Why hasn't anyone told me about Pi before? Brilliant movie. We don't get to see stuff like this anymore.
Bridge To Terbithia - This was an insanely boring and kiddy movie until a particular twist towards the end. That made the film worth watching for me at least. I never saw it coming, especially since the rest of the film is too childish to expect that kind of twist.
I watched Blazing Saddles for like, the 20th time today.
HEY WHERE ARE ALL THE WHITE WOMEN AT
Mr. Brooks and Room 1408.
Both movies were pretty fun to watch. Mr. Brooks was better.
Hell yeah, Pi is "motherfucking win" like Megalith said. Mindfuck movies are great. Haven't seen The Departed, but watched Infernal Affairs, the HK flick Departed was supossely based on, it was alright. Movies I recently watched were The Prestige, which was actually better than I expected, and Takeshi Kitano's Sonatine, a typical Kitano movie, still good, though I've seen him doing better ones. Oh, and watched Ichi the Killer again for the 5th time, Kakihara is still one of the greatest movie characters ever. Right now anticipating an english subbed release of El Orfanato.
I just watched Futurama: Bender's Big Score. Yay for internet leaks. ^^;;; I'll still buy the DVD, of course, in the hope of another series after these four movies. Still, it was nice not having to wait.
Anyway, despite being a straight to DVD movie, I thought it was awesome, and far better than The Simpsons Movie. It's not quite up to the caliber of the very best episodes in the series, but it's still really funny and well-written, and it more than lives up to the high benchmark the series set. ^_^ It's hard not to be a little disappointed, being that I've waited eagerly for more Futurama from the moment the series was cancelled, but I can't really say that I expected any more than I got. It delivered on every level. Besides which, it's more Futurama! I can hardly complain. ^_^
Anyway, now all I have to do is endure the wait for the second one. ^^;;;
Identity. A psycho horror movie. Pretty good, but the horror is nothing atypical. The twist towards the end made the movie worthwhile for me, but I can't help think of the potential it could've had had they made it with a little more care and attention.
Running Scared. Loved it.
Amadeus. Not as good as rumored by the hype, but it was enjoyable.
American Gangster
good but not as good as I was hoping.
