You really like One Piece don't you. It's good but I can't take the time to catch up...Quote:

Yeah, um, I finished Galaxy Angel Z last week, now I'm watching School Rumble. Currently at episode 5.
I'm also watching one piece. I'm at the Skieparc Arc and it's getting pretty intense, and i just finished episode 170. I'm also watching about too finish Cowboy Bebop. IMO, find it too be a very average anime despite all the crazy reviews.
Futari wa Pretty Cure here, but I've also been watching bits and pieces of Pretty Cure~ Max Heart whenever I can. And looking forward to Splash Star, yay!
I do <3 my shoujo fluff.
I've just started the One Piece Skiepiea Arc myself and i'm at episode 155.
Just catching up with the last couple of Shinsen releases for Jigoku Shojo, one weird pseudo-gothic horror series about what could drive someone to damn themselves for revenge.
Currently watching:
Cardcaptor Sakura
Naruto (up to ep130)
Robotech
Please Teacher
Wild Arms
Just started Fate/Stay Night, i've not played the game, however i hear that had a good storyline so i can't wait to see how this goes ^__^
Transformers Headmasters DVD box set lovely stuff indeed.
I'm currently watching GTO. Good anime indeed.
The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, It's good, but not for everyone.
Zeta Gundam, pretty sweet, it's too bad that Bandai had to take out the original opening songs for the English DVD release though.
Yes that is very annoying. Issues with the license apparently.Quote:

Argentosoma: Epsiode 1
Interesting mecha show, but a relatively unpopular one. Partly because of the subpar animation and -old show Bond-esque- music. It remains interesting if you can look beyond those two nitpicks. I think I'll be watching through this one.
Pani Poni Dash!: Episodes 1 - 8
Best thing since Azumanga. Mahou~!
Currently up to date with most currently running anime. Mushishi, Jigoku Shoujo, Eureka Seven, Noein and Bleach. Also have the Fafner Right of Left OVA downloaded - just need to find the time to watch it.
Argh great, i'm still watching One Piece and i'm at episode 162, however the eps 161-183 having been translated by a different group than usual and from what i've seen so far its of poor quality video as well as below par sub translations.
Just finished Transformers Headmasters. Damn that ending was god awful. The series started promising and just fell away easily. Not to mention the so called professional subtitlers did an absolute shit shoddy job on them.
Monster. A great anime. Simply, impressive.
Heh maybe the guys that did the subtitles for the 20 One Piece episodes i'm watching now are the same ones that did your Transformers Headmasters finale. They are called XeNo-HK.Quote:

I'm watching Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu. It's old, but I hadn't had a chance to watch it, and it's very good.
Well after watching a few episodes subbed by Xeno HK i've noticed that they have completely different translations for the "last Time on One Piece" sequence at the beginning of an episode than what the translations were in the previous episode beforehand. They have no idea what the term consistent is I bet.Quote:

I am watching Guyver-The Bio Boosted Armour tis a remake of my fav anime series of all time I dont know if it is following the exact same path been awhile since I have seen the original. Pretty good so far.
I've always preferred fansubs to the "official" ones, as those fans who sub are really dedicated to the series so they think about their translations more.
Yeah like GeruSama and kaizoku-fansubs basically translate almost all of the series of One Piece and KF are working diligently to fully translate all the eps that Xeno-Hk and a few other subbers fucked up even though they currently aren't the ones translating the newer episodes that GeruSama are. Though I have yet to see any eps from GS I've heard that they are in just as good quality as KF ones.
The anime club which I'm on the committee of actually has an affiliated subbing group, so while they won't let me help at the moment I do see some of what goes on behind the scenes (and occasionally QC). There's a lot of staying up until 4am or pulling an all-nighter just to get that next episode out before class.
Well you have to be very fluent with informal and formal Japanese. Formal is basically what you are taught in school/university and informal you usually have to learn yourself either by watching lots of anime or by atually living in Japan and learning from the locals.
I wish I'd had a chance to learn Japanese, but my school didn't offer it and there's no time for me now as I'm doing a double degree with 25 contact hours a week. The translators for this particular subbing group are actually Japanese and half-Japanese, so they are quite experienced when it comes to understanding subtle nuances.
Well the subber group Xeno HK apparently just used the language translator called Babelfish, which being a program is highly faulty when it comes to the true mechanics of language translations.
I watch Neon Genisis Evangelion Platium on dvd. But Adv films (German) is so shit they would first relase the last vol. on 5 December and they say they reales it in March I hate them so :argue:
Finished GTO. Now onto Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai.
Azumanga Daioh!
Neon Genesis Evangelion
I'd never watch anything from a group that cares as little as that! It sounds terrible.Quote:

Wings of Rean: Episode 1
Wow. Confusing, that's all this was. I had high hopes for this show prior to seeing it. Having seen it, my failure to grasp anything from the first episode didn't leave much to be anticiapated. The episode felt very disjointed and made very little sense, not in a good Lain kind of way, but in a very boring and disappointing way. The second episode will decide if there's any hope for this series.
I'm watching a bit of Midori no Hibi to go with my Guu~!
