If I was to play with Nem's style, it'd be Gato.
Not too complicated. Delay on air projectile (if the force counts) so no way to overuse it.
and Easy to combo with.
But my style is more distance to achieve a means (get equal footing when pressured).....not to spam (not saying Nemesis does this)

Another good thing to do, is fake stomp once or twice during opponent's knockdown, to build up meter, and try to stock at least a S power, to reduce jump in attempts.(QCFx2 K)
As for combos, well, Gato has some basic, but damaging ones, but also has the most complicated, that can take over your lifebar away.

You can projectile bounce with Iori in '98, just requires timing correctly. You need to use his anti-air as well though.
