I don't think I will need a new battery for a long time though, the laptop is only a month old.

My old Acer Aspire laptop that I left on charge for about 2 years' battery only lasts about an hour. Not bad, considering. :wacko:
For that amount you could just buy a new laptop.
Some Toshiba laptops have a design flaw that makes the motherboard sit directly on top of the heatsink. :wacko: So shit burns and melts and the thing stops working.
That happened to my dad, he thought it was warranty covered but no, they wanted $800 to fix it.
The computer costed around 500-550.
