Also FF8 remaster (what the hell did they remaster?) just popped up on Gamepass too. That's all 3 psx FF's.
They're really pulling out all the stops with that service lately.

:pwacko:
I probably won't be getting any next-gen systems anytime soon. Just wait until a drop in price or they come in a bundle with a game or two. You're already paying $300 or more on a system, they can at least put in one game along with the system and controller and hook-ups.
Got a faulty HP 15 laptop (with psu) from work for $2aud. Wasn't booting and came up with a hardware error.
Basically got it because I thought there was a decent chance it had a 1TB HDD and I was right.
Plus I also thought I could possibly salvage some ram, essentially getting more than $2 value out of it.
Just messing around with it now, it seems like someone had screwed with the bios settings and it would only boot from USB. So the hardware error was only because it couldn't boot from HDD :lol
Pulled the HDD (I'll do some tests on it later) and swapped in a good 500GB spare, I'm installing win10 right now :pwacko:
Screen looks fine but this only has 8GB of ram in one slot atm. I could double that but I don't have a spare matching stick right now.
This model does seem to have some bad reviews so I'll probably just test it on and off for a while to see how it goes.
Hopefully the 1TB HDD I pulled tests ok because I'd like to use it in one of my PS3's with CFW.
Halp!
Ok here's a weird one for you guys.
I grabbed a free month of Disney+ and having a minor issue here.
When I use the app on the Xbox One the Video looks absolutely fantastic in 4k (tried a few different shows/movies) but the audio is a little screwed - umm think we've all seen this before in some fashion but the dialog is quite low so if you turn up the sound when it comes time to explosions and stuff it's 10x louder.
Ok so then I thought I'd try the app out on the tv itself. Pretty much the reverse happens when I do this - the audio seems normalized but the video quality looks bad (like 720p)
My initial thought is that the Xbox is simply more powerful than a cheap tv processor wise etc and can handle the video much better. Which would be my preferred choice but the audio thing sucks. Xbox is simply set to stereo (I even tried mono) but again bleh.
I'm gonna look at the xbox audio settings again and dig around a bit more for now.
Change the xb1 audio to 5.1 or whatever.
If the content is 4k (HDR especially) then yes the XB1 is probably processing it better than the tv, which I believe was a fairly cheap one yes?
poop?
Sure I like to poop. Do you like to poop? LET'S ALL POOP TOGETHER!!
Did you try changing xb1 audio to 5.1?
Fuck me, I hate Triple Triad.
