V knows what I would mean if I said that video games just weren't spectacularly epic ground-breaking things any more - there aren't really any more "classics!" Metroid Prime is just another game, Zelda is just another game, Mario is just another game. They used to be MUST-HAVES or coveted possessions, now the new ones are just blending in.

^ As someone said, the games today arn't different, they are exactly the same, which is why there are no classics or great games, they are just the same as the old ones, but people expect them to be better.
