My family got an NES and tons of classics as a present to the kids. The rest is history.

Likely from watching the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons when i was younger; I hazily remember playing a gameboy with Kirby's Dreamland and a a Genesis with a horse game at an event [CNE?] and those were fun. Never found out what that game with the horses was [no, it wasn't MLP lol]

My father came how drunk one night with a beer in his right hand and a huge box in his left arm. He gave it to me and my bother and said enjoy. It was Nintendo entertainment system (NES). Dad's a gamer who cut his teeth on pong. I don't remember the first console he bought- he would though- but I was only a baby at the time and you can bet tiny Laz wanted to press all those shiny buttons. The desire never really went away, and dad's also still a gamer even if our tastes don't always intersect.
