Ok, this may sound basic, but the "guide" topics are so cluttered that I can't understand anything. I thought I had everything I needed when I got the plug-ins, but it's asking me for a "Disk 1"
I thought the ISOs were made so that you didn't need the CD ROM o_O
Yo can anyone help me? my battle system bar during battles isn't showing up. When I press left or right i could hear the cursor but nothing shows up? Anyone?
-MZ-, If you loaded the Iso it shouldn't ask for disc 1, I know this may sound silly but is it disc 1 you've put in?
Grinding415, In some of "Pete's" graphics plug-ins there are special game fixes, one of them sort out the battle scene
Go to config -> video plugin -> special game fixes -> try to find your game.Quote:

BTW, I got the ISOs from here. There's FF7_D3 and IMAGE. Is there supposed to be a FF7_D1 or FF7_D2?
Thats the third disk, If you have a save on the third disc of the game thats no problem, but you'll need the other 2 discs if you want to play the game from the start.Quote:

Any idea where I can get the Disk 1 and Disk 2 you're talking about, or do I already have it? :grazy: :qq:
the .mdf file is a Alcohol 120% file or you can mount the file with deamon tools. Just google it to find the program.Quote:

So, I don't suppose anyone knows of any, do they?
I ran Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha 2 using ePSXe fine a while ago. It was a bit slow, but I'm fairly sure that was because of me running system resource usage-heavy programs at the same time.Quote:

Edit: After a long time of searching, I still can't find it. Would anyone happen to know where I could get the playstation Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha iso? I can probably figure out how to set up ePSXe myself, hopefully. I just need to locate the iso -.-;
You can find Street fighter EX plus alpha on SN ;)Quote:

I have an image of Radiant Silvergun. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could rip the music from the game using a program or something so that I might later on convert it to .mp3 later on.
Radiant Silvergun, hmm it depends on what format the sound is stored in and on what system the game is for, sometimes you can't rip the music that easy.
there are various tools for ripping music from PSX, Dreamcast and so on that may or may not help, a lil more info from your end would help me help you find the prog that will help in this
Hey. Every site I go to places either project64 or UltraHLE at the top. In my oppinion that which makes a best emu is 1st its ability to run properly and 2nd its compatability.
Which in your oppinion has a greater or more desirable compatability?
Project 64 has better compatability, it runs more games correctly then UltraHLE...Quote:

I want to know where I can get Rom Fixes for NeoGeo Roms. :qq:
It's more possible that you are missing the bios files that should be zipped into a file called NeoGeo.zip and placed in your rom folder
You can find that at http://bioshouse.free.fr/
I want updated Romfiles for my Romsets and not a Biosfile. :-/
I downloaded Super Robot Taisen F Final from the torrent tracker, but whenever I attempt to start a new game on it, it brings me to, like, the 34th mission. Can someone tell me how I can start from scratch?
Are the ISO's on the main site even possible to access? i (and nobody i know) have been able to activate that damn download button no matter how many times we vote, heh. was just wondering what the deal was. if i'm an idiot i apologize, otherwise an explanation would be great! thanks.
god, i got a torrent(final fantasy X for ps2), and need a password.
the thing is, the link won't work.
how utterly pathetic...
i think i downloaded the game off torrentreactor.
i don't think it was from sn, but could be from both i guess.
do the following links work for anyone?
www.torrentsbr.h2c.net
http://bnbt.go-dedicated.com/
http://bnbt.go-dedicated.com/doc/
i hate it when this happens.
hope someone can help me out...:(
I've read up on Playstation emulation lately, and now that I've gotten back into it, I was wondering. What is this.. "mounting the iso to a CD" stuff? Would mounting the iso to a CD still allow you to play it on an emulator like ePSXe? Also, since it would supposedly now be on a CD, would you still be able to use save states? If you can to both those, I don't suppose anyone could explain how to mount an iso to a disc, could they? (or point me to a link where it explains it) Like I've said, I've gotten back into PSX emulation.. but the iso files are huge, so I can only have 2 games at once, at the most. If I could "mount" isos to CDs, I could have much more games to play on the emulator than usual.. provided mounting to a CD is what I think it is.
With the program Daemon's Tools you can mount an ISO. This is the same as taking the image and making the computer think it is a CD inserted into a CD-Drive in the computer. After installing the program you will notice an extra CD/DVD drive in My Computer. Mounting an image is like burning it and putting it into that drive. This is used for ISO formats ePSXe doesn't support like Alcohol 120% images, mdf/mds, and for playing PC games that you ripped into ISOs yourself for faster loading times. You will also be able to use Save States. You will not be able to hold more ISOs. As I said earlier mounting and image is just making the computer think the ISO is in a fake CD drive.
Hm.. I see. I have Alcohol 120%, but I guess I'll have to find this "Daemon's Tools" thing. I'll give it a try, and hopefully it'll work. Though some games are well over 700mb, and that's as much as a CD can hold. Will it still be able to mount the iso onto the disk? (oh, and I know you can't hold more than one iso on a disk. I meant one game per CD) Anyway, I'll give it a try.
Oh, and finally, last question I'll be askimg for awhile. Do you, or anyone else, know where I could find a working torrent -by working, I mean one with seeds, so it'll actually download- (or direct download, I don't care) of Valkyrie Profile? I've heard many great things about this game, but I've never even heard of it before reading about it online, let alone ever seen it before.
Edit: I have Daemon's Tools, and I installed it.. but now I don't know what to do. A desktop icon appeared, and a little icon thing in the bottom corner, but nothing happens when I click on them. In fact, the only thing that appears to have changed at all is a new DVD drive that appeared under "My Computer".. but that doesn't really help me much, either. What can I do?
http://www.emuparadise.org/reviews/Mario64/
Go and get it right now from the Roms section and have fun!!
Well, I went to the N64 Roms section in hopes of finding this game. I clicked on M section, and saw Mario 64 on the list, but the actual Mario 64 rom was absent. I entered the S section in hopes that it would be listed under Super Mario 64, but alas, nothing there either. Do you even have this rom? Please help me, thanks!
I dont think Emuparadise has the rom anymore... however, you can get it off my FTP.Quote:

Does anyone know where I can get a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ROM?
I'm trying to figure out how to mount an iso to a CD, so I can play the games without having to have the large files take up space on my computer. I have Daemon's Tools, and I installed it.. but now I don't know what to do. A desktop icon appeared, and a little icon thing in the bottom corner, but nothing happens when I click on them. Try those with a virtual drive, get Daemon tools or whatever it was, there are a number of programs that do that. I can't recall what program makes those files, but yea, that is disk 1 and 2. Also, maybe try burning them, with alcohol 120%, nero, or whatever. But I'd say a virtual drive is your best bet.Quote:

You don't mount them to a CD, you burn them. You mount them to virtual drives, which would be your 'new' DVD drive you see. The icon in the lower right corner will allow you to select files to mount to that drive, mount the ISO file (preferably the .cue I believe, or whatever the little describing file is, though I may be wrong on that), and then you have essentially tricked your computer into thinking this piece of data is a real cd in a cd drive. Then, with it mounted, you can burn it, hopefully. Just use whatever you use to burn, and make the virtual drive (the new one) the source, and make a direct copy to a blank disk. But realize that reading from a cdrom is slow... so don't expect the performance like an ISO gives.Quote:

Like the ones that have actual CD audio will have the one data track with the game, and then the music tracks. You have to make sure your PS2 is modded, as well. But yea, you can use those to make the CD, and it will essentially be just the same as copying it from the original (unless they ripped some data from it.. but that isn't often).
