That's why I asked, if it uses an emulator as a blank template for the ISO insertion it's not the same as hardware. If it was a direct port it would not need custom firmware for homebrew, I doubted it would be. I must take it for a spin regardless, if it is based on SSF it has the same compatibility list to test if it's based on it.
