Well. I guess I should begin fighting one of the Guardians of the Remake of La-Mulana. Exploiting a glitch (I guess that's what it is) is pretty mean, being able to reach an area before beating a Guardian.
And I can destroy a Guardian in about six shots of a pistol, I think.

Well, there are skeletons and ghosts in La-Mulana.
And mudmen and exploding enemies.
And giant monsters that can cause almost-instant death.
