Finally got around to beating Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary for PSP. I had always heard that the name Final Fantasy came from the idea that the game was a last ditch final effort by SquareSoft before folding. However, I now think I know where the name comes from.

Used this long weekend to beat Tales of Destiny. Ooh boy the final dungeon sequence. Many puzzles.

Playing it with a custom button-mapped arcade stick is absolutely perfect. Played it at least 2 or 3 times with that thing.
Finished the campaign of Aeon Command, now just trying to unlock everything.
Beat The Tomb Raider re-boot. Not a bad game, Basiclly felt like Uncharted, only with Lara Croft, instead of Nathan Drake.

Victim of Xen, which had such a massive non ending I feel like the whole thing was one long troll attempt. That or the writer was terrible.
Either is a good choice.

Finally, I'm done with it. Can't say I've liked it. Coming from Eidos Montreal I expected it to be something like Deus EX HR, which was superb. But it's nothing near as good as that was. Way too many issues (absolutely terrible map, boring story and environments, repetitive and annoying QTEs to access new areas, loads of loading screens, no fast travelling to known areas or quick start missions to repeat them features... I'm not being picky and the list could go on..) makes of this a game to play once and forget about it. It felt like an old game in a new platform :/
