the heatwave has dissipated a bit we got some much needed rain yesterday around 1:30-2:00pm than about an hour later the tornado sirens started going off my first thought was "wow another incident like 2-3 years ago where there was a tornado a few miles east of here after it had just finished raining" I turned the local news on to check things and all I really got was that there was either cloud rotation or a funnel cloud in the northeast tip of the county(which is over 20 miles from here)
the other local news station didn't think it was important enough to interrupt the fucking euro cup or whatever soccer bs is going on. about 5-10min after the sirens were going off they stopped them then NWS cancelled the tornado warning with little to no info and back to their shit programming.
even hours later I didn't find out what happened and I couldn't be bothered to sit through a ton of fucking garbage just to get 10 seconds of weather reports.
the weather still kinda sucks the temps lower but it's humid as fuck and there was still a heat advisory till tonight as of like 10-11pm last night. I hate summer :(
