I can't believe anyone else has seen this movie
The whole movie is so ridiculous, and it never really bothers to explain anything. Besides, Joe Piscopo was the man back in the day :-)

It was fine.

I just remembered a couple of other movies I saw recently:
Steele Justice (1987) - 2/5 - Oh, so bad, but so great at the same time - it stars the Cobra Kai Sensei from Karate Kid.
Commando (1985) - 4/5 - Classic Schwarzenegger
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1989) - 5/5 - Man, I remember hating this as a kid, but seeing it recently made me rethink that opinion. This is a smart, fantastic movie that wasn't meant for kids in the first place
Cool World (1992) - 2/5 - I always wanted to see this movie, but pretty much forgot all about it, and after watching Roger Rabbit I tracked this sucker down. It's pretty bad, and that's a shame because there's a lot of really good ideas in this movie, it's just executed so poorly. Animation and live action don't match well, a lot of the story doesn't make much sense and feels really cut up, and Brad Pitt is just terrible in this movie. How he ever became a star after this is beyond me.
Had a bit of a Pegg/Frost marathon.
Shaun of the Dead.
Hot Fuzz.
Paul.
Went through all the Indiana Jones movies recently too.
Also,
X-files Fight the Future (I think it's called)
I watched the new Hobbit movie that I dl'd, Lots of Dwarves and Orcs!, For some reason the main Orc was White.
This wild shit:

I can't believe I was up until 3:00 am watching this off of showtime :nosweat:
In the last 2 weeks I've watched a fair few movies, so time to catch up!
Trading Places (1983) - 5/5 - classic Eddie Murphy (before he became a bitch) and Dan Aykroyd
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) - 5/5 - Another classic comedy - John Candy is priceless in this one
The Stuff (1985) - 2.5/5 - decent gore effects, but not enough of it.
Creepshow 2 (1987) - 2/5 - Shouldn't even share the Creepshow name with the awesome 1982 original - this movie is pretty weak.
Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke (1978) - 5/5 - THE classic comedy stoner flick.
Far Out Man (1990) - 1/5 - Real bad, even for Tommy Chong. Don't waste time with it.
Killer Klown's from Outer Space (1988) - 4/5 - This used to scare the shit outta me when I was young. It's pretty amusing now though
Leon the Professional (1994) - 3.5/5 - It's good, but not nearly as good as everyone remembers. This is one of those movies where people seem to view it through rose-tinted glasses all the time.
Maximum Overdrive (1986) - 4/5 - Awful movie, but so bad it's good. The soundtrack alone kicks serious ass, and the gore is pretty great.
I saw Cat's Eye-It's a collection of Steven King short stories connected by a cat. Not bad, I guess.
Deadtime Stories- fairy tales with a horror twist. It was ok,but dumb.
Watched the abominable dr phibes. Fun film. Completely cheesy and its bad how they can convince you that the bats and rats in that film were terrifying. Still, a good way to kill an hour and a half and I'd recommend watching it at least once.
I finally watched The Godfather for the first time. I LOVED it.
The 3rd one however...just, avoid that disaster. I don't know how they made such a horrible movie really.
Goodfellas was 'good', definitely not great or anything, but a fun movie.
I'm delaying watching Casino because we watched all of Evangelion and now we're deep into Higurashi.
And yeah, I love these kinds of movies, Scarface reigns as my all time favorite. Well I kind of just love Al Pacino.
A Good Day To Die Hard. Meh 2/5
The Professional. WOW. 4.5/5
Watched Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla- It was entertaining, I don't know why Mechagodzilla chose what looks like a metal paperweight to assist him. sigh. Still, I enjoyed it.
Bourne Identity
Bourne Supremacy
Bourne Ultimatum
