Fan made?
Well yes I know not the entire library will be Backwards compatible, but true more games will be added over time. Also cool is that digital will transfer over too. I also saw that pretty much 99% of PS4 games will be backwards compatible on PS5. There's only like 10 games that won't play on the PS5.
Still though I don't think it would have been too much to add PS1 and PS2 backwards support to PS5. I can see how the PS3 might present some challenges with the cell processer and all, but look at RPCS3, its been making tremendous progress.
Regardless this is why I keep all my consoles.
lol. I'm watching Charlie's Angles and there were two kids pretending to play FF8 as if it were two players.
Did it have the 2 player battle thingum or am I thinking of 9?
I know 3/6 had it.
Original Xbox doesn't get any new releases and this won't run on retail.
I'm not sure if it's fan made from the ground up though, I think there's something on github that you use to compile the game.
Possibly some mods can be added in as well but I'm not sure. I did read mention of the possibility of 60fps but idk if that's true or not.
Anyway, there's a thread on reddit about it with a youtube vid.

Looks like PS3 and Vita are pretty much confirmed to be on death's door now.
You will only be able to browse/purchase store content via the consoles themselves (I've been told it's hell to use the store on PS3 now, but can't confirm that myself), not via mobile, PC or whatever.
Rumour is a lot of servers will be shutting down soon.
So as I speculated some time ago, looks like Sony is probably heading the same way as ninty as far as BC is concerned.
Hey Dead do you know how the Xbone does with movies - say connecting an external drive filled with downloaded movies and shows. Since you can buy these things on the store just wondering if like games that having pirated stuff if they would somehow know and get the console banned or something?
Spoiler warning:
Hah. I just sold sold my last PSN code for Summon Night 5 a couple weeks ago. I assumed people were plugging them into a Vita, but I wonder if it's still possible to browse PSN on a PSP :lol
I should look over my DLC code text file and see about flipping any PS3 codes I have. But it's a problem when I have no idea what say a "Drakengard 3 DLC Pack Wave 1" even does, or if it's still valid, or have any idea what it's worth. And then I have codes where I just know the game they're for, not what they are. Or worse, I have codes that I don't even know what game or system they're for!
Like seriously, what platform put out 8 letter codes like ABCD-EFGH? Or 22 consecutive digits like 1234567890123456789012, could that possibly be a Vita code, my text file seems to hint that?
