The best advice is to avoid getting close to it and use E&I. It takes a long time, but it's easy to finish the battle without even getting hit.

I had its health down to like 2 shots from the handguns, but my health was down to like the same, and it totally got the last hit. :(

I'm pretty sure both were. ^_^ Or...at least the one I played had Dante et all.

In Japan, though, there were two versions. One was just plain old Nocturne, and one was Nocturne Maniax. The latter had Dante and a bunch of other stuff added in. ^_^
