I remeber being 17 and just started working in the local pizza store. instead of buying a new playstation2 game i wet and got a used n64 with 8 games or so. i never owned one before and i was craving to junk on zelda and super mario. it was 2007 and cost me 60 bucs that time. more than worth it

God, I've never given it any thought. It must have been "Looney Toons: Back in Action" for GBA. I found it in a bargain bin for 10$ and it's not even worth a tenth of that. *Sigh*

the first game that i ever bought with my own money was banjo and kazooie , i played and beat so many games before then, i just was lucky enough to have a free ride all the way up to n64 lol

I would have to say that the first game I bought with my own money was The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D. I had done some odd end jobs for people in my neighbor hood to buy the game since I am just barely too young to have missed the N64 era I was excited to truly play the game.

The first game I purchased with my own cash was the original Megaman for the NES from Consumers Distributing. Unfortunately, a neighbor of mine borrowed the game and I never got it back. A harsh but necessary lesson for me to learn.

I kept playing on our old consoles through college as I didn't have funds for new games. My first purchase on my own was either Fallout or the Orange Box, long after either was initially released.

With my own money entirely? Hmmm, Pokemon Pinball I think, I earned the money typing up a cookbook for elementary school using student-submitted recipes. Either that or The Lion King for Genesis, I can't quite remember ^^;
