weird was having connection issues with the site so i decided to unplug the cable and use my wireless and it's working better.

My moms laptop refuses to boot from a DVD. I need to install Win7 on a second partition. USB drive, here we go!!! (this probably won't end well...)

Yup. I've tried just about everything in the BIOS, and I know for a fact the DVD works. I've used it to install twice now, and there isn't a scratch on it. It was burnt at 2x. It's a high quality disc. I have no clue what it's deal is, but it just boots normally every time.
